2-2 entering the final period.  Then Rob “Rickie” Middleton scores his second goal of the game in the final period for the game winner.  Defenseman Brian Reath with the Hawks middle marker.  The John’s – Shelton and sub Cornish both with hat trick assists.  Kirk “Captain America” Larson was Superhero like in nets!  Dr. Nate McCoughtry and Scott Leslie with the Sharks goals.

Bruins center John McNeilly scores his first of two goals within a minute of each other in the first period and completes the hat trick in the final stanza.  Winger Eddie Sudzina with the game winning goal for the men in yellow.  “R” league call up goaler Mike Schmiglen was outstanding in nets for Baker’s Bruins.  Power winger Mike Nalepa with all three of the Flyers goals in this penalty free game!

This guy just keeps getting better and better!  Habs net minder Dar blanks the Wings, with his own style of acrobatic puck stopping!  Jack Prioux and sub Mike Ala score late first period goals for the Frenchmen in this well deserved victory.  Prioux and Wings forward Jimmy Brown get into a tussle and both receive minor roughing infractions.

Old time hockey in this contest!  The Bruins parade six times to the box – while the Wings march off four times in this heated contest!  The leagues leading scorer “Downtown” Jimmy Brown with the trick.  Singles for Steve Wink and Mike Wilson.  The Boyette clan play playmaker – Ryan with four helpers and Dad Terry with three.  Goaltender Muddy with an excellent game between the pipes.  John McNeilly and Marty Papesh with the Bruins goals.  Now the penalties.  Eddie Sudzina and Wings center Brian Moore both receive roughing minors along with Sudzina picking up a two minute unsportsmanlike conduct  infraction.  Steve Wink and Bruins sub Chodin both agree to disagree and rack up roughing minors.

The Sharks relinquish a 3-0 lead as the flying Frenchmen steal this one!  Super sub Bob Rowling with the deuce for the Habs.  Singles for Mike T. Brown and Dougie Roehl.  Donnie Rivera, Scott Leslie and sub Darrin “Mitch” Hotts score for the Fish, as they lose a rare twin bill today.

The high flying Hawks wrap up first place in the second half standings as they school the cellar dweller Flyers.  As in game one – Rob “Rickie” Middleton with the deuce.  John Shelton(Also 3 Helpers), Joey Reiss and sub “Vin” Scully with Hawks markers.  Steve Lemieux with the hat trick assist.  Goaltender Kirk Larson with a seven save game.  Mike Riddle with the lone Flyers goal as they remain winless in their last eight games with only four victories in the season.  100 goals allowed in just 22 games for this shell shocked Flyers team.  Regular goalie Billy Schaugg did not play this week it was reported, due to a well needed mental health break.
