Deuces wild for both Shark centers today as Donnie Rivera and Nate McCoughtry dominate.  Jeff Ivory with the hat trick assist.  Goaler Billy Mac Jr. was his usual steady self between the pipes.  Joey Reiss and Ward Peterson were the Hawks marksman.

WINGS    2    HABS   1

The goaltenders were the story of this contest as the winning goalie Muddy – was simply outstanding!  Coming out of retirement and taking a while to figure out how to put his equipment on – Muddy stole the show!  “Downtown” Jimmy Brown with the game winning laser for the Wings.  Terry Boyette with the Wings initial marker.  Left defenseman Jack Prioux banked in the Habs goal from behind the net. Goaltender Dar stood on his head, as he foiled three breakaways!  The Wings Steve Wink picks up an unsportsmanlike minor penalty.

HAWKS   9     FLYERS   2

After playing well in game one and little output to show for it – game two was a whole different story for the Hawks!  Steve “Mario” Lemieux with the trick. Singles for John “Shifty” Shelton(Also 3 Helpers), Timmy “Dutch” Schultz, Joey Reiss, Ward Peterson, Rob “Rickie” Middleton and sub Mike Folster.  Flyers both goals were scored from sub Gilgalion.

BRUINS   6   WINGS    2

Both teams split for the day as the Bruins completely dominate the Wings.  Sub Rowe with the deuce.  Marty Papesh, Todd Brown, Mike Miller and sub Hastings also score for the men in yellow.  Steve Wink and Jimmy Brown tally for the Wings in this penalty free game.

SHARKS    4   HABS   2

The expansion team Sharks are the only team to sweep today!  Jeff Ivory sets the tone with a two goal game.  Singles for centers Donnie Rivera and Nate McCoughtry.  Al Pyc and Bryan Prentice tally for the Frenchmen who drop a deuce today.  Prentice and the Sharks “Jumping” Jim Leonardi get into a little scrum and hit the box in tandem.
