BRUINS   1   HAWKS   0

Jeff “Dick” Tracy’s power play goal was the difference in this contest!  Bruins net-minder Bobby Rutkoske was outstanding in his shutout effort!  Likewise for Hawks goalie “Sugar” John Marchin who only allowed the one power play marker.

HABS  5    FLYERS   5

Flyers seemingly in control with a 4-1 lead entering the final stanza.  The Frenchmen roar back with four final period goals for the well earned stalemate.  Reverting back to his goal scoring ways, Flyers forward Jimmy George with the trick!  Singles for Al Sparks and Keith Foucher.  Deuces wild for Steve Orr and Mike Ala of the Habs.  “Gentleman” Don Courtley with the Habs final and game tying marker.  “Bruising” Joe Grueling with the hat trick assist.

WINGS   4   SHARKS   1

Wings jump out to a 4 zip lead entering the final period and cruise for the W.  Sniper Ronnie Meltsner with the natural hat trick.  John “Hal” McRae also with a Wings marker.  Kari Topouzian with the lone Shark goal.  The Sharks pick up an illegal player penalty.  Someone please tell me what this is?

HABS  4    BRUINS   2

3-0 entering the final period for the Frenchmen.  Steve Orr and Mike Ala score 13 seconds apart to highlight this victory.  Al Platt and Mike Lawson also with Habs goals.  Jeff Tracy and Chris Zanke score final period goals for the men in yellow.

WINGS   3    HAWKS   1

The Wings sweep for the day, as goalie Mike Mostyn only allows one goal per game today!  Al Pyc(2) and once again Ronnie Meltsner score for the Wings.  Hawks sub Lawson with their only tally on the day as they drop a deuce.

FLYERS    5    SHARKS   4

Deuces wild for Jimmy George and Ben Haynes as the Flyers keep the Sharks winless in six games this season.  Keith Foucher continues his three game goal scoring streak for the Flyers.  Smooth skating John Zucccarini with three helpers.  Fish – Joe Plati(2), Eddie “The Eagle” Higgins and once again Dr. and author Keri Topouzian.
