CONGRATS TO THE LEAFS AND THE HABS WHO WILL PLAY IN THE SAM CUPP CHAMPIONSHIP GAME NEXT WEEK!

LEAFS 4 HAWKS 1
The Leafs jump out to an early 2-0 lead with just over 3 minutes into the game and defeat the Hawks. Playing with his lucky lime green tape on his blade, Jeff Ivory with the deuce. Singles for Danny Shannon and Brian Moore. Goaler Billy Mac Jr. with a light workload. The Leafs will face off next week with the Habs in the Sam Cupp Championship game. Discount tickets are available at any American House facility. John “Shifty” Shelton with the lone Hawks marker.

WINGS 4 BRUINS 2
A must win for the Wings as they enter the day a single point behind the Habs in the Championship game race. They do not disappoint. The Mikes – Miller and Krueger with Wings goals. Andy “Hell Boy” Helmuth and sub Chodin also tally for the Wings. Dar with an excellent game between the pipes. Al Pyc and Scott Leslie score for the men in yellow.

HABS 4 STARS 0
Same scenario as in the above game. A big W for the Frenchmen. The league’s leading playoff scorer Craig Bastuba with the trick. Left defenseman Jeff Curran with the Habs initial marker. Kirk “Captain America” Larson with a 7 save shutout. Stars Captain Billy “The Dark” Knight and Habs right winger Frank “Crash” Casali both hit the box in tandem with roughing minors.

LEAFS 9 WINGS 1
The Wings needed a victory and some help from the Hawks in their game against the Habs to play next week. Didn’t happen on both counts! The Leafs win their fifth straight playoff game and completely demolish the Wings. Center Brian Moore with the trick. Deuces wild for Jeff Ivory and sub Mike T. Brown. Marty Papesh and John Cornish also with goals.in this penalty free game. “Downtown” Jimmy Brown with the Wings goal.

BRUINS 8 STARS 3
A game of no championship game consequence and it showed. Bruins sub Dave “Beach Boy” Wilson with a two goal game. Singles for Scott Leslie, Mike Nalepa, Chuck Bowers, Al Pyc, Rex Baker and Steve “Mario” Lemieux. It’s been a long and tumulus season for the Stars, as they win their first playoff game, then proceed to drop 9 games in a row! Donnie Riviera with all three Stars markers as ten gallon hats litter the Troy Arena ice.

HABS 6 HAWKS 2
The Habs come out flying as they score four goals in the games first six minutes and secure a spot in next weeks Championship game against the powerhouse Leafs. Deuces wild for Bryan Prentice and Rob “Rickie” Middleton. Singles for Craig Bastuba and the games number star, with his scoring, play making and back checking ability – “Diamond” Dave Vorhes, who also had three helpers. Centers John Shelton and Ward Peterson score for the Hawks.
