SHARKS   3     HAWKS   3

A very nice goaltending battle between veteran Billy Schaugg and the much younger Billy Papciak.  The Hawks play a strong game behind the two goal efforts of center Brian Moore.  Paul Violassi with their final goal.  Zach Wagner and subs Dave Rupprecht and Ballach score for the Sharks.

FLYERS    5     HABS   5

Another tie game, as Chicago White Sox slugger Andrew Vaughn lookalike(See Picture Below) Craig Bastuba ties it up for the Frenchmen.  Scoring machine Rob Rowling with the deuce.  Singles for Joe Robillard and sub Nick Piccolo.  Warren native Steve Bayagich scores twice for the Flyers.  Marty Papesh, Trevor Knight and Jeff Steiber also with Flyers goals.

BRUINS   6    WINGS   2

In a game of zero consequence, the Bruins score three times in each period to crush the Wings.   Providence call up Anthony Amato with the trick!  Rob Montgomery goes five hole.  Master facilitator Billy Reiss with a goal and three helpers.  Returning from parts unknown – longtime Sting player, sub Jim Pufer goes top shelf!  Nate Wagner and Greg Stacey tally for the Wings.

SHARKS   7    WINGS   1

Postgame locker room, Sharks forward Scott Chodun who tallied twice in this game goes “This is just a little warm up before next week!”  Chodun’s first goal was an unasssited mad solo dash a minute into the game!  Zach Wagner with the hat trick.  Mike Akins and sub Ballach with singles.  Goaler Billy Schaugg with a seven save game.  Chris Koehler with the lone Wings marker.  This mercifully brings an end to the Wings campaign, as they rested comfortably in last place in both the regular season and playoffs.

FLYERS   4    BRUINS   2

Young Flyers forward Trevor Knight scores twice.  Singles for Rich Artymovich and Marty Papesh.  Goalie Steve Bissell was strong between the pipes.  Rob “Archie” Montgomery and Steve “Mario” Lemieux were the Bruins goal scorers in this penalty free game.

HABS   7    HAWKS   4

Moncton call up Nick Piccolo with the un natural tour du chapeau!  Another two goal game for Rob Rowling.  The Joes – Robillard and Ventimiglio also score.  Deuces wild for Hawks Scott Davenport and Paul Violassi.  This was a penalty free game.
