The Hawks clinch the top spot with this exciting win!  Not many scores of this type occur in this talented run and gun league!  Dar with the well earned whitewash!  Defenseman Jack Leavy with the game winning power play goal, scoring a second before Joey Reiss’s infraction expired.  No Habs highlights.

SHARKS    5   BRUINS   3

The Bruins needed to win this game to keep pace with the first place Hawks.  Didn’t happen!  Deuces wild for Ward Peterson and Greg Stacey.  “Scowling” Scott Leslie with the Sharks final marker.  The Mike’s – Brown and Garlick tally for the Bruins.  Returning from his lengthy self imposed time-out – Captain Rex Baker also with a goal.

A goaltender battle between Kris “King” Arthur and Flyers sub Joe “Rickey” Nelson.  Both puck stoppers put on a show for the self distancing two people in attendance!  Paul “Stork” Erikson goes top shelf for the Wings.  John Cornish ties the game up for the Flyers.

The Sharks close out the second half season with their fourth straight win!  Your welcome boys!  Having said that – this game was of no consequence for the Hawks, as they clinched first place in game one.  As in game one, Greg Stacey of the Sharks with a two goal game.  Sub Rob Aughe also with the deuce.  Trevor Wrobel and Nate McNaughtry with singles.  Brian Moore and subs Mike T. Brown and “Skip” Lockwood tally for the Hawks.

FLYERS    6    BRUINS   3

2-2 entering the final stanza.  Then the Flyers break loose for a four spot!  Flyers sub Jeff “Marine” Steiber with a two goal game.  Singles for fellow subs Scott Davenport, German import Kluz and Mike Nalepa.  The leagues leading scorer Zach Wagner scores the Bruins final two goals.  “Midtown” Mikey Brown with the Bruins initial marker.

WINGS    6      HABS   0

The Wings destroy the Jekyll and Hyde Habs, who won the first half and has deeply regressed into the basement in the second half.  Deuces wild for Jeff Ivory and John McNeilly.  Singles for Mike Riddle and Chad Wooten.  Kris Arthur with one of easiest shutout’s you will see, turning aside nine shots.  No Habs highlights, as they drop their second consecutive DH.
