WINGS   4     FLYERS   4

Flyers go up 4-2 after one period.  Wings claw back for the tie!  Zach Wagner with the Wings first and final goals.  Scott Chodun and Rob Giroux also score for the Wings.  Each line of the Wings netted two goals.  Trevor Wrobel with a 2 & 2 game for the Flyers.  Rob Hergott and Mark Rogers(Also 3 Helpers) with singles, as the line-mates accumulate 10 points in the game!  Kurt Salvatore of the Wings picks up an elbowing infraction, then voices his displeasure and adds a minor unsportsmanlike conduct penalty to his resume.

HABS   6     HAWKS   1

The Habs manhandle the Hawks behind the two goal efforts of Anthony Amato and sub Chris Ballach.  Singles for Joey Reiss and Rob Montgomery.  Goaler Billy Schaugg was outstanding between the pipes!  Paul Elsey Jr. with the Hawks goal.

SHARKS   8    BRUINS   3

The Sharks saw red this game as they feast on the Bruins.  Deuces wild for line-mates Greg Stacey and John Cornish. Nate McNaughtry, Nick Piccolo, Mike Garlick and sub Micolo all partake in the festivities.  Jamie Smith(2) and Mike Nalepa score for the Bruins in this penalty free game.

HABS   4    WINGS   1

The Habs once again play a rough and tumble game against the Wings and sweep on the day, as the top spot Wings are now winless in their past three contests.  As in game one, reverting back to the days of his youth – goalie Billy Schaugg shined in nets for the Habs!  Subbing for top gun Rob Rowling – Chris Ballach(More on Chris Later) scores his first of two goals 50 ticks into the game!  Joey Reiss and supreme power play specialist Lou Suvak also with goals.  The Habs make a concentrated effort to focus on the Wings  Zach Wagner and it worked!  Scott Chodun with the Wings marker.  Zach Wagner of the Wings picks up a solo roughing minor penalty.  Now – I always say the GOOD players, sometimes just SNAP!  On the same play – Habs sub Chris Ballach incurs cross checking and roughing minor penalties, along with a 10 minute unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and an early exit to the cooler!  Not to be outdone and probably feeling a little jealous, a minute later, teammate Pat “The Beast” Wosek expresses his opinion to the referee and hits the box with a minor unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

HAWKS   6    SHARKS   2

Deuces wild for Brian Moore and sub Jimmy Degan as the Hawks defeat the Sharks.  Paul Elsey Jr. and Larry “School Boy” Rowe with singles.  Goalie Kris “King” Arthur with an excellent game in nets!  Mike Garlick and Dave “Adam” West with the Sharks goals.

BRUINS   8     FLYERS   6

Mr. Jamie Smith leads the Bruins with a big 4 goal game and six on the day!  Scott Leslie with a two goal game.  The Mikes – Riddle and Nalepa also with Bruins goals in this run and gun game.  As in game one and as he has all season – Flyers sniper Trevor Wrobel with the deuce.  Marty Papesh, Rob Hergot, sub “Skip” Lockwood and returning from a very nasty lower body injury – Waz Sarweh with Flyers goals.  Welcome back Waz!  The Flyers are now winless in their past two doubleheaders.
