After starting the season 0-12, Flyers net-minder Billy Schaugg said “Enough is Enough” and stones the Wings with the shutout and the Flyers first W of the season!  “Midtown” Mikey Brown and Eddie Sudzina were the Flyers marksman.  No Wings highlights.

A shootout at the Troy Arena!  Zach Wagner with the hat trick!  Line-mate Robbie Olmstead with a 2 & 3 game.  Singles for Rob Giroux, John Mcneilly and sub Mike Folster.  Winger Soctt Leslie with the hat trick assist.  Habs subs Scott Davenport(Trick) and “Downtown” Jimmy Brown find the back of the net.  Steve “Mario” Lemieux with the Habs initial marker.

Mike “Padre” Nalepa breaks the 2-2 tie with a shorthanded goal with just under four minutes left in the game for the Bruins.  Joey Reiss and Craig Bastuba also tally for the men in yellow.  Bruins sub goalie Bissel was a vaccum cleaner in nets!  Nate McNaughty and “Angry” Joey Ventimiglio with the Sharks markers.

Whoa!  The league’s leading scorer Zach Wagner with a five goal game and eight goals on the day for the undefeated first place Hawks!  There have been rumblings from the league’s top players, that just maybe this kid is too good for the league.  Rob “Larry” Giroux with a two goal game.  John McNeilly with a single.  Hawks goalie Joe Polizzi with a ten save game.  Nate McNaughtry with the lone Shark goal.

Da Bruins sweep for the day behind the two goal effort of one of my favorite players – Donnie Rivera.  Singles for Mike Nalepa, Joey Reiss and Jimmy “Jets” Galloway.  Mike Riddle and Brian Barr tally for the Flyers.

Deuces wild for Habs subs Jimmy Brown, Scott Davenport and Abella.  Fellow sub Fouladbash and Steve Lemieux also with goals.  Wings – Terry Boyette, Scott Chodun, Dougie Roehl and Steve Bittner.  Dougie Roehl picks up a high sticking penalty on Jimmy Brown, who takes exception and both players hit the box with roughing minors.

This is a good one!
