BRUINS    5     HAWKS   1

The Bruins snap their four game losing streak as they topple the top spot Hawks!  Playing like a wild man – Paul “Stork” Erikson with the deuce.  Brian Moore, Mike Nalepa and scoring in his fifth straight game “Angry” Joe with singles.  Puck stopper Billy Schaugg was excellent between the pipes.  Hawks sub Tringali with the lone marker.  Brian Moore of the Bruins picks up a solo roughing minor penalty.

SHARKS   7    HABS   2

The Sharks have a feeding frenzy this game behind the hat trick from David Passwater.  Singles for Mike Garlick, Steve Lemieux and subs Pat Wosek and Scott Davenport(Also 3 Helpers).  Joey Reiss and sub “Brian” Piccolo score for the Habs in this penalty free game.

BRUINS   6     SHARKS   2

Scoring leader Mike “Padre” Nalepa with the trick for the Bruins as they sweep on the day.  Steve Bayagich with a two goal game and Paul Erikson also score for the Bruins.  Once again goaler Billy Schaugg shined in nets.  Mike Garlick and Steve Lemieux were the marksman for the Sharks.  Postgame in the Sharks locker room Billy Knight said: “At least we kept “Angry” off the scoreboard!”

HABS    6    HAWKS   4

Today was Rob Rowling bobble head day!  The big guy didn’t disappoint, as he dents the twine four times!  Jimmy “Jets” Galloway and sub “Brian” Piccolo also score.  I don’t get it?  So Zach Wagner is getting married Friday.  He can’t play today?  Really?  Obviously the Hawks suffer as they drop a deuce.  Hawks – Robbie Olmstead, Greg Stacy, Scott Mitchell and sub Gregg Kalvin.  Habs sub Piccolo incurs a minor unsportsmanlike conduct infraction.

This past season Austin Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs became the second American to win the Rocket Richard Trophy(Led the League in Goals).

Who was the first?
