Mr. Rob Rowling returns after a four game absence and doesn’t miss a beat with a huge four goal game!  The Joe’s – Ventimiglio and Robillard with two goal games.  Singles for Paul Erikson and Craig Bastuba.  Returning from his epic European vacation and a viewing with the Pope in Rome, where the Pope laid both of his hands on the genuflected Joe’s shoulders and proclaimed:” Joseph M. Reiss, I am giving you the gift to share!”  Bingo!  A career five assist game for Joesph M!  Mike Keenan(See Picture Below) lookalike Mike Riddle scores twice for the Hawks.  Brian Moore with their first marker.

BRUINS   4    SHARKS   2

The Bruins spread out the scoring as Steve “Mario” Lemieux, Jeff Funk(EN), Chris Robillard and sub LeWis dent the twine.  Goalie “Smoking” Joe Polizzi was hot in the nets!  Mike Akins and sub Brian Barr tally for the Fish in this penalty free game.

FLYERS   4     WINGS   1

Flyers sub Mike Ala scores on the games first shift to propel the Flyers to the W.  Trevor Wrobel, Jeff Steiber and Eddie Sudzina also score for the Flyers.  Goaler Steve Bissell with a solid game in nets, albeit a light workload.   Veteran Terry Boyette with the Wings lone goal.

As predicted in Curt’s Corner preseason review, the top spot Flyers continue to play great hockey!  Center Jeff “Marine” Steiber with the trick!  Fellow center Trevor Wrobel with the deuce.  Billy Reiss, Chris Robillard and Jordan Roberts tally for the Bruins.

HAWKS   5     SHARKS   4

Run and gun!  4-4 entering the final stanza, as Brian Moore of the Hawks scores his second goal of the game to break the tie.  Timmy “Dutch” Schultz tommy guns in two goals.  Scott Davenport also with a Hawks marker.  Zach Wagner leads the Sharks with a two goal game.  Singles for Scott Chodun and sub David Rupprecht as the Sharks drop a deuce today.

WINGS   3     HABS   3

Chris Koehler scores a late shorthanded tying goal for the Wings.  Fellow Sting rookies John Crisi and Tony Kuschak also with Wings goals, who are now winless in their past seven contests.  Rob Rowling with a two goal game for six on the night for the Habs!  Paul “Stork” Erikson with a Habs power play goal.  Both goalies – Rodney Heid of the Habs and Brian Miller of the Wings with excellent games between the pipes!
