FLYERS    4    WINGS   2

Wings up 2-0 entering the final period.  Then Paul Violassi scores and the pride of Alabama Huntsville College – Mark Rogers records the natural hat trick and a solo unsportsmanlike minor penalty to boot!    John McNeilly and sub Jeff “Marine” Steiber tally for the Wings.

Whoa!  Dr Nate with a four goal second period!  Power forward Trevor Wrobel with a first period goal and two more in the final period to complete the trick!  Dr. Nate also with a solo roughing minor penalty.  Bob Hergott with the lone Habs goal.

BRUINS   6     HAWKS   3

Bruins center Zach Wagner with the trick!  Yes – Zach did pick up his second assist of the playoffs!  Singles for “Midtown” Mikey Brown and Donnie Rivera.  Sub Marine Chris Isola scores twice for the Hawks.  Dave Mercero with their initial marker.  Dougie Roehl of the Bruins picks up a solo unsportsmanlike minor penalty.

The top spot Flyers have sewed up an appearance in the Sam Cupp Championship game!  Mark Rogers with a two goal game and five on the night!  His old college coach Doug Ross would be proud of him!  Singles for Paul “Brett Michaels” Vioalssi and Marty Papesh.  Brian Moore, Robbie Olmstead and Craig Maisonneuve do the honors for the Hawks, who drop a deuce today.

This guy just keeps getting better!  All the way back to Notre Dame HS in Harper Woods, with John Blum playing D in front of him and Dave Coulier on the JV team, Sharks puck stopper Billy Schaugg  just keeps turning in top notch performances!   Trevor Wrobel, Ward Peterson, Greg Stacey and Steve “With a Nod And A” Wink tally for the Fish.  Mike Garlick and Dougie Roehl with the Bruins goals.

Shades of the past!  Returning from parts unknown, Wings sub goalie Billy Mac Jr. and Habs goalie Gordy Nadolsky put on a show for the two people in attendance!  Rob Rowling and hired gun Scott Davenport tally for the Habs.  Mike Riddle with both Wings goals.
