The line of the league’s leading play maker Rex Baker(1 & 4), Mike Nalepa(1 &4) and Jeff Steiber(2 Goals) total 12 points in the game to steamroll the Flyers!  Baker and Nalepa were playing games 5 and 6 today in three days, as they go into their 60 and over division championship game Friday morning versus Traverse City in the Michigan Senior Olympics!  Brian Hamlin, Nick Piccolo and sub Marcel Dimitri with singles.  Trevor Wrobel with the Flyers marker in this penalty free game.

The league’s leading scorer Zach Wagner and his winger Steve Bayagich record hat tricks!  Fellow line-mate Terry Boyette also with a goal as the line total’s 12 points in the game!  This was also games five and six for Terry Boyette today, as he goes into the 70 and over MSO championship game tomorrow!  Greg Stacey also scores for the Wings.  Ken Kluz with four assists!  Sporting six subs today, the Habs receive goals from “Angry” Joey Ventimiglio, Paul “Strork” Erikson, Mark Rogers and sub B. Reiss.  Lamenting about his missing teammates post game “Angry” retorts – “I can’t believe these guys choose hunting over hockey!”

Sharks sub Elsey snaps the 2-2 tie with just under two minutes left in the contest for the W!  David Rupprecht, and Scott Leslie also with Sharks markers.  The league’s leading goals against and shutout leader Billy Papciak was stellar between the pipes!  Robbie Olmstead and the energetic Jordan Roberts score for the Hawks.

The Wings come out on top for the battle for the first half top seed!  Whew!  Scoring two even strength goals, a penalty shot goal and an empty net goal, Mr. Zach Wagner with a huge four goal game!  Steve Lemieux and sub Kos with singles.  Goaler Dar stood tall in nets.  Nick Piccolo(2) and Jeff Steiber with the Bruins goals.

Goaltender Billy Papciak ands his school of Sharks swarm the Habs and sweep for the day!  Dave Rupprecht, Mike Garlick, Ward Peterson and sub Elsey all register goals for the Fish.  Habs sub Scott Davenport with their lone goal.  Defenseman Pierre Dugas of the Sharks picks up a solo roughing minor penalty.

FLYERS   7     HAWKS   2

Flyers power forward Trevor Wrobel scores at even strength, on the power play and shorthanded, to lead the Flyers to the victory!  “Midtown” Mikey Brown with the deuce.  Rich Artymovich with a single.  Steve Wink with the hat trick assist.  Puck stopper Gordy Nadolsky with an excellent game in nets!  Robbie Olmstead and Brian Moore score for the Hawks.  The reeling Hawks are having major production issues with their second line, as their top line continues to produce points!
