SHARKS   7    HAWKS   1

Speedy Hawks center Scott Chodun scores the first goal of the game.  It was all downhill from there as the Sharks tally seven unanswered goals!  You know it’s a good thing for the Sharks, when they score seven times and Dr. Nate did not have one point!  That is great balance and a good thing for the team!  Sub Justin “Mickey” Brantley with the deuce.  Singles for Mike Garlick, Brian Reath, Scott Leslie, Dave Rupprecht and playing an all around impactful game – left winger Ward Peterson.  Sub right defenseman Marcel Dimitrie with the hat trick assist.  Dave Rupprecht’s stick broke on the face-off and he didn’t drop it right away and picked up an unsportsmanlike conduct minor penalty.

WINGS   3    HABS   3

Habs sub Barker tie’s the game up with the goalie pulled with just 28 ticks left on the arena clock!  Big Rob Rowling with the Habs first two markers.  Zach Wagner, Rob “Archie” Montgomery and grizzled veteran Lou Suvak score for the Wings in this penalty free game.

BRUINS   6    FLYERS   1

1-1 entering the final period.  Then the Bruins bust loose and put up a five spot!  The line of Jeff Steiber(3 & 1), Mike Nalepa(2 & 3) and power right winger Rex Baker(1 & 3) total 12 points in the game!  Nick Piccolo also scores.  Goaler Kris”King” Arthur was his usual solid self in nets.  Flyers Latvia sub Grzanka with their lone goal.

SHARKS    3     HABS   3

A well played hockey game!  Scott Leslie of the Sharks snaps the 2-2 tie with five minutes remaining in the game.  Three minutes later, Mark Rogers of the Habs goes 5 hole for the tie!  Mike Akins and Ward Peterson also score for the Fish.  Rob Rowling and sub Al Pyc with the first two Habs goals who are now undefeated in their past six games.  This was a penalty free game.

WINGS   3    BRUINS   1

The top spot Wings continue their five game unbeaten streak behind the outstanding net-minding of Dar!  Zach Wagner with a two goal game.  Steve Bayagich with the Wings initial goal.  Mike “Padre” Nalepa with the lone Bruins goal.

FLYERS   7     HAWKS    4

27 year old Latvia sub Grzanka pours in four goals for the victorious Flyers.  Paul Violassi, Steve Wink on a beautiful double inside outside move and running the show on right D – Marty Papesh also with Flyers goals.  A special shoutout to Flyers forward Mike Riddle, who had a breakaway with the Hawks goalie pulled, with seconds left in the decided game and just left the puck in the crease.  Class!  Sub Mr. Tringali with all four of the Hawks goals!  The Hawks sported five subs today as they were missing all three players on their top line.
