Both teams were tied for first place going in. Complete domination by this very talented Wings team! The Hawks maybe, managed five shots on net! The line of Zach Wagner(2 & 2), Steve Bayagich(1 & 2) and Terry Boyette(4 Helpers) total 11 points in the game and were unstoppable! Steve Lemieux and right defenseman Ryan Boyette with singles. FLYERS 5 SHARKS 3
Rich Artymovich scores the Flyers final two goals as they defeat the visiting Sharks. Larry “School Boy” Rowe, Jimmy Galloway and sub Chris Isola also with Flyers goals. Ward Peterson finds the back of the net twice for the Sharks. Sub David Passwater also with a Sharks goal. Ward Peterson with an unsportsmanlike conduct minor penalty.

The Hawks just tie the game up at 2-2. At the center ice face-off circle Rob Rowling of the Habs goes to me: “I’M SCORING ON THIS SHIFT!” I answered back: “I believe you.” Guess what – he did! Doing a Mark Messier guarantee – Rob buries his third goal of the game! Captain Joey Reiss with a beautiful falling down in front of the net game winning goal for the Habs. Sub Jimmy Degan with an empty netter. Brian Moore, Dougie Roehl and on a great end to end rush, Jack Leavy score for the Hawks who drop a deuce today.

I like this Wings team! The top spot Wings rock and roll again! Center Zach Wagner with the trick! Rob Montgomery with the deuce. Singles for line-mates Terry Boyette and Steve Bayagich. Deuces wild for the Flyers Mike Riddle and sub Chris Isola. Jimmy “Jets” Galloway with the hat trick assist.
BRUINS 5 SHARKS 2
The Bruins keep the Sharks winless in their past four doubleheaders. John Siedlik, Mike Nalepa, Jeff Steiber, Nick Piccolo and sub Vandenbussche score for the Bruins. Mike Krueger and sub Dave Passwater with the Sharks markers. The Fish were minus captain Nate McNaughtry today, as I find it ironic that he we went fishing! Soapbox time! The Sharks Ward Peterson smokes the Bruins Nick Piccolo from behind as he picks up his second roughing minor penalty of the game. This was a very dangerous and careless play that could have resulted in serious injury! Let’s see: two roughing minor penalties and an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in today’s games. Can we say Mr. Conduct Officer?
