Defense – what defense?  Run and gun in this contest!  Hawks sub Rob Aughe with a two goal game.  Singles for John McNeilly, Robbie Olmstead, Zach Wagner(Also 3 Helpers) and sub Joe Fouladbash.  Returning from parts unknown – Trevor Wrobel with the trick for the Flyers.  Brian Moore and the Mikes – Riddle and Brown also score for the Flyers.  Billy “The Dark” Knight with the hat trick assist.  Mike Riddle picks up a solo roughing minor infraction.

BRUINS   5     WINGS   3

As stated last week in Curt’s Corner team preview – this Bruins team has personality, or is personality’s?  More on that later.  Deuces wild for Craig Bastuba and John Cornish.  Jimmy “Jets” Galloway with a water bottle top shelf goal.  Big Rob Rowling(2) and sub David Rupprecht tally for the Wings.  This game had 36 minutes in penalties.  The Bruins with six infractions and the Wings with four.  Rob Rowling of the Wings with an interference call on opposing goalie Ben Alciandro.  Then words were exchanged and Rowling picks up a minor roughing infraction.  At the start of the final period Mr. Rowling incurs a minor unsportsmanlike penalty and a very early start on the locker room cooler!  Now to the personality laden Bruins!  Pat “The Beast” Wosek with interference and tripping penalties to go along with his minor unsportsmanlike penalty and ten minute misconduct and game misconduct for head butting!  This Bruins team will be must viewing for any ardent hockey fan!

HABS   3     SHARKS   3

Jeff Curran bangs in a rebound with five minutes left in the contest to give the Habs the tie.  French Canadian Pierre Dugas and sub Greg Kalvin also with French goals.  Mike Garlick, James Puffer and Dr. Nate score for the Sharks as they tie both games today.  Both goalies – Dar of the Sharks and Gordy Nadolsky were stellar in nets!
