HAWKS – Two very strong centers with Brian Moore and Captain John Shelton. Nice addition with Moore’s sidekick and linemate Mike Miller. Love the defense and goaltending! Can defenseman Lou Suvak survive without his former D partner Billy Mac Jr.?
BRUINS – Strong squad! Four players selected from the Sam Cupp Championship Canadians team! Defense and goaltending are top notch! How can you go wrong with the likes of Dr. Nate and John McNeilly? Supporting forwards should be strong enough for this Bruins team to contend.
CANADIANS – D and goaltending are more than passable. Offense could be a little suspect once you get past Rob Rowling.
SHARKS – This team is an interesting paradox. All kinds of sidebars on this squad. There is immense talent, but also some pretty big question marks! It appears the Sharks are closer to Davey Jones Locker than a feeding frenzy.
FLYERS – Don’t really like this team. Very questionable top pick? Nice player, but top pick? Team should struggle to score. Goaler Kirk Larson will get plenty of work with this defense.
WINGS – The team to beat in my humble opinion! I think finally Captain Ryan Boyette has it right! Great forwards and defense. Goaler Joe Polizzi has proven with a good support staff, he can shine!
