BACK FROM RIVIERA MAYA, MEXICO.  MY TOUR IS COMPLETE!

HAPPY LEGAL POT DAY!      th

BRUINS  6    WINGS   4

Line-mates John McNeilly, Joey Reiss and Mike “Padre” Nalepa both score two goals apiece, with Padre adding four helpers and the high powered line total ten points in the game!  Ryan Boyette, Mike Miller, Robbie Olmstead and sub Gregg Calvin score for the Wings.

HAWKS   3    FLYERS   2

All the scoring in period one, as the Hawks hold on for the W.  John “Shifty” Shelton, Steve “Mario” Lemieux and sub Paul “Stork” Erikson do the honors for the Hawks.  Goaler Keith Konnie with a very strong game in nets foiling Rob Rowling twice on stone cold breakaways!  Eddie Sudzina and Mike Riddle score for the Flyers in this penalty free game.

HABS    6   SHARKS   3

3-2 Sharks entering the final period, only to see the Habs run off four unanswered final period goals!  Deuces wild for Larry “School Boy” Rowe and Scott Chodun.  Singles for Pierre Dugas and John Cornish.  Sharks – Billy Mac Jr.(2) and Jimmy Brown.  Craig Bastuba(Hook) and Scott Chodun(Chop) hit the box in tandem early in the final period.

BRUINS   4    HAWKS   4

Hawks score four first period goals – Bruins score four final period goals for the tie.  But how the Bruins scored their tying goal is the story.  Under a minute left in the contest.  Empty net.  The Hawks have the puck in the Bruins zone.  Hawks player decides to leave the zone and rag the puck in his own end.  Well – the puck is poke checked from him and Jeff Funk buries the game tying goal with seconds left in the game!  Great comeback for the men in yellow!  A very deflating tie for the Hawks.  Dr. Nate McCaughtry with a very strong offensive game, records the trick.  Defenseman Brian Reath with the other Hawks marker.  Chuck Bowers, Mike Nalepa and the newly retired Jack Priauix with the remaining Bruins goals.  No trips to the sin bin for either squad.

HABS   4     FLYERS   1

The Habs remain undefeated in this young season!  Bryan Prentice, Jeff Curran, Larry Rowe and sub Mike Garlick score for the Frenchmen.  Goaler Dar was his usual solid presence in nets.  Danny Rea with the lone Flyers goal.  The two big guys – Pierre Dugas(Double Roughing Minor) and Rob Rowling(Roughing Minor) exchange Christmas pleasantries as they promenade off to the box together.

SHARKS   5    WINGS   1

I would assume he was playing forward.  Mr. Craig Bastuba with a huge four goal game!  Nice game Craig!  Sub Paul “Brett Micheals” Violassi with a single.  Sub goalie Nadolski with a ten save game.  Wings sub Gregg Kalvin with their goal.
