The Hawks win their fifth straight game as they dismantle the Flyers. Seven different players dent the twine for the Hawks! John Shelton, Lloyd Rogers, Joey Reiss, Ward Peterson, Rob “Rickie” Middleton, Steve “Mario” Lemieux(Also 3 Helpers) and sub Dana Boyette all with goals. Power winger Mike Nalepa with the trick for the Flyers. Defenseman Lenny Gerbino with a single.

Jeff Ivory sets a new Michigan Sting record, as he scores his first of two goals just 8 seconds into the contest for the Sharks! “Midtown” Mikey Brown with the middle marker. The Habs specialty team units excelled in this game, as they score with the man advantage and short handed. Larry Rowe(PP), sub Bob Rowling and with the late game tying short handed goal – James Puffer(Also 2 Helpers) tally for the Frenchmen.

Oh Boy! The Flyers make like a 7 -11 store today as they were always open! 15 goals against today for the beleaguered Flyers, as they are now winless in their past six games! Super sub Mr. Bob Rowling once again with a four goal game this season! Steve Bittner with the tour du chapeau. Mike T. Brown also with a goal. Larry Rowe with four helpers for the Habs. Paulie “Knuckles” Polizzi and sub Danny Caton tally for the Flyers.

The Wings take full advantage as the Sharks were minus their Allstar goalie Billy Mac. Jr. today. The line of “Downtown” Jimmy Brown(3 & 2), “Angry” Joey Ventimiglioe(1 & 5) and Brian Moore(1 & 2) total 14 points in the game! Subs Chris Isola and Darrin “Mitch” Hotts with singles. The Wings do a nice job of shutting down Wings killer Nate McCoughtry, as he only scores once in this game. Mike Brown and sub Bruce “Cooler Man” Gooel also tally for the Fish.

Da Bruins snap the Hawks five game winning streak as they take a deuce today. John McNeilly and Jimmy “Jets” Galloway with the Bruins markers. John “Shifty” Shelton with the lone Hawks goal. Both puck stoppers – “Smoking’ Joe Polizzi and Kirk “Captain America” Larson were outstanding in nets, as both goalies made several eye popping glove saves!
