Young sub Chris Gerbino scores 20 ticks into the game, as the Hawks jump out to a 3 zip first period lead. Steve “Mario” Lemieux with a two goal game. Joey Reiss and John Shelton with singles. The Habs receive final period goals from Moncton call ups Bob Rowling and “Marine” Stieber.
WINGS 6 FLYERS 2
The Wings score goals within the first minute of each period, to defeat the Flyers. Rounding back into shape after his Florida vacation, “Downtown” Jimmy Brown and sub “Johnny” Buzyk with two goals apiece. Line-mate Joey Ventimiglio with a 1 & 3 game. Steve Wink with the other Wings marker. The Wings line of Brown, Ventimiglio and Buzyk total 11 points in the game! The Mikes – Riddle and Nalepa score for the Flyers.
SHARKS 3 BRUINS 3
John McNeilly of the Bruins records the natural hat trick in the first period, as both teams play to a well earned tie. “Midtown” Mikey Brown and subs Scott Davenport and Gary “Tall Dude” Seelbinder tally for the Bruins. Both goaltenders – Billy Mac Jr. and “Smoking” Joe Polizzi with solid efforts in nets. No trips to the sin bin for either team.

The Mikes go wild on the Bruins! Mr. Mike Nalepa with a huge four goal game! Mike Riddle with the deuce. The league welcomes Billy ‘The Dark” Knight back from his lengthy D.L. stint, as he scores a goal in his first game back. Paulie Polizzi and Lenny Gerbino each with three helpers. Bruins center John McNeilly follows up his hat trick in game one, with a two goal game in this contest. Line-mate Mike Miller also with a goal. Zero penalties in the game.

A defensive goalie highlight reel game! Billy Mac Jr. and Kirk “Captain America” Larson both with outstanding games between the pipes! Jeff Ivory and Donnie Rivera do the honors for the Sharks. Rockford call up Chris Isola with the lone Hawks marker.
WINGS 11 HABS 7
This is NOT a misprint! Were they using soccer nets?? 18 combined goals in this contest as both red lights behind the nets short circuited. Again – the Wings big line of “Angry” Joey Ventimiglio(3 & 2), “Downtown” Jimmy Brown(1 & 4) and sub “Johnny” Buzyk(Hat Trick) do major damage, as they total 13 points in this game! Terry Boyette(Also 3 Helpers) and Steve Wink also score for the offensive powerhouse Wings – who are averaging five goals a game this second season. Ryan Boyette with a three assist game. Once again – sub Bob Rowling lights the Wings up for a four goal game! This is at least the third time Bob has put a four spot on the Wings this fall/winter season. Jack Prioux, Dougie Roehl and sub Dave “Beach Boy” Wilson also with Habs markers. Tall defenseman Pierre Dugas with three helpers.
