PENALTY MINUTES – ROB ROWLING – 20

GOALS AGAINST – JOE POLIZZI – 3.63

SHUTOUTS – JOE POLIZZI – 2

BRUINS   4     HABS   4

Habs jump out to a quick 3-0 lead and then a 4-2 lead, only to see the top spot Bruins score in the games last minute to secure the tie.  The leagues leading points man and goal scorer, Rob Rowling with the tour du chapeau.  Sub Robert Duff with a single.  John McNeilly(2), Craig Bastuba and Rex Baker with the Bruins goals.  No trips to the sin bin for either squad.

HAWKS   1    WINGS   1

Another tie and penalty free game!  Puck stoppers “Smoking” Joe Polizzi and the rotating goalie of the week for the Hawks, John Valenti both put on a goaltending clinic for the large attending crowd.  Steve “Mario” Lemieux and sub Sammy Antonucci were the games only marksman for the Wings.

SHARKS   8    FLYERS   2

The Sharks ensure the Flyers will win the dubious distinction of cellar dweller.  Deuces will for “Downtown” Jimmy Brown, Mike Riddle and sub Jim Puffer.  Singles for Jeff Ivory and Billy Mac Jr., who also added three helpers.  Defenseman Pierre Dugas with the hat trick assist.  The Sharks played this game with only eight players.  Goaltender Scott French was superb in nets.  Flyers sub Scott Davenport and “Marine” Steiber with the Flyers goals.  Flyers defenseman Pat “The Beast” Wosek was a little surly today, as he incurs a solo unsportsmanlike conduct minor penalty.

FLYERS   5    WINGS   2

The Flyers recover from their game one drubbing to defeat the Wings.  Sub “Marine” Steiber with the trick!  Mike T. Brown and Billy “The Dark” Knight with singles.  Goaler Kirk Larson shined in nets.  Mike “Padre” Nalepa with both Wings goals.

SHARKS   8    BRUINS   4

In the lobby prior to today’s game their was a school of Sharks swarming around.  This Sharks team were on the receiving end of a few playful condescending jokes regarding their disappointing season.  After sweeping today’s game in fine fashion and totaling 16 goals – I would have to say there was a little incentive going on pregame in their locker room!  Picking up a player.  The Sharks now play with nine and clobber the Bruins!  Dominating in both games today – sub Jim Puffer with the deuce.  Singles for Billy Mac Jr(Also 4 Helpers), Mike Riddle, Donnie Riviera, Pierre Dugas and with his daughter and friend in attendance – Eddie Sudzina.  Net-minder Scott French with a seven save game.  Bruins – Craig Bastuba, Rex Baker, Nate McNaughtry and sub Paul Erikson.

HAWKS   3     HABS   3

A very even game as the score indicates.  Hawks center Brian Moore with a two goal game.  Marty Papesh with the Hawks final goal.  Big Rob Rowling with the Habs first two markers and sub Stacey with the game tying goal.  Hawks sub goalie John Valenti with an interference minor penalty.  Defenseman Lou Suvak and the Habs Lloyd Rogers both pick up separate unsportsmanlike conduct penalties in the game.
