FLYERS   5   SHARKS   2

Flyers come out victorious for the “Battle of the Basement!”  Returning from parts unknown – Flyers sub John Touhy with the deuce.  Singles for Danny Rea, Joey Reiss and sub Sammy Antonucci.  Goaler Kirk Larson shined in nets.  Jimmy Brown and Billy Mac Jr. do the honors for the Sharks.  Big Mike Folster of the Flyers and Jimmy Brown of the Sharks, both take turns cross checking each other and hit  the box in tandem.

BRUINS   6   HABS   2

Bakers Bruins totally dominate the Habs as they execute the “Rowling Rules” to perfection and shut down the big guy!  Dr. Nate with the trick.  Mike Ala with a two goal game.  John McNeilly with a single.  Rex Baker with four helpers.  Scott Chodun and Captain Robbie Olmstead score for the Frenchmen.

HAWKS   5   WINGS   2

Hawks center Brian Moore scores his first of two goals a minute into the game, to kickstart the Hawks to the W.  The subs Scott – Davenport and Bosyk and Marty Papesh also with Hawks markers.  Returning from his bear hunting trip in upper Ontario – “Angry” Joey Ventimiglio with both Wings goals.  Jeff Funk and Mike Nalepa both rack up roughing minor penalties late in the contest.

HABS   5    HAWKS   2

The Frenchmen right the ship with four final period goals.  Scott Chodun with the deuce.  Singles for Dana Boyette, Mike Wilson and the leagues leading scorer Rob Rowling.  JP and sub Scott Bosyk score for the Hawks in this penalty free game.  Hawks Captain John Shelton was absent for game one but played in this contest.

BRUINS   6    SHARKS  5

A very entertaining contest as the Sharks roar back from a 5-1 deficit to almost pick up a point!  The Bruins benefitted from the curfew clock as four minutes were shaved off the game as the Sharks saw blood and were swarming everywhere!  Bruins winger John McNeilly with the trick.  Singles for Dr. Nate, Mike Garlick and sub Gary “Tall Dude” Seelbinder.  Playing a very strong game “Downtown” Jimmy Brown with two goals for the Sharks.  Jeff Ivory, Billy Mac Jr. and sub Montgomery also with Sharks goals.  Master facilitor – right defenseman “Midtown” Mikey Brown with the hat trick assist.  “The guys open – I just hit him with the pass” Brown says!

Watch out for these Flyers in the playoffs as they sweep for the day!  Danny Rea and subs Sammy Antonucci, Robert Duff and Paul Erikson all with Flyers goals.  Mike “Padre” Nalepa, Joey Ventimiglio and Steve Bittner tally for the Wings as they drop a deuce today.
