Steve “Barney Miller” Dietrich scores twice in a 46 second span in the games first four minutes, to help the Sharks defeat the Flyers.  Barry Piornack, Ben Haynes and sub “Old Man” Jack Priauix(GW) complete the Sharks scoring.  Sting rookie Billy Hagen(2), Bruce “Cooler Man” Gooel and Al Pyc with the Flyers markers.

HABS   6    BRUINS   4

Jimmy “Boog” Powell scores his first of three consecutive goals at the 16 second mark of the first period, as fedora’s lined the Troy Arena ice!  Subs “Magnum” Higgins, Sala and returning from parts unknown – the prodigal son – Kevin Mahon with singles.  The Habs were up 6-3 entering the final period.  Bruins sub Steve “Mario” Lemieux(2), Al Pyc and Rick Batchelder tally for the men in yellow.

WINGS   4    HAWKS   2

Scoring machine James George score the Wings final two goals.  Gary Enmark and Brian Belloli with first period Wings markers.  Having a banner season – Mark Smyth with both Hawks goals in this penalty free game.

HAWKS    2    HABS   1

Goaler Keith Konnie steals this game for the Hawks!  Scott Shurin and Pat Collins were the Hawks marksman.  Habs sub “Magnum” Higgins with their lone goal.  Sir Kevin Beebe with an excellent game in nets for the Frenchmen.

BRUINS   3   SHARKS   1

Dr. and author Keri Tapouzian scores his first of two goals 41 ticks into the first period to send the Bruins to a split today.  On a personal note – hey Keri – if your reading this, I’m attempting to contact you regarding a literary topic.  Please contact me!  Thanks!  Back to the game!  Steve Lemieux with the Bruins middle marker.  Goaler Brian Miller shined in nets for the victorious Bruins.  Barry Piornack with the lone Shark goal.

WINGS   4    FLYERS   2

The top spot Wings keep on rolling as they remain undefeated in their past four doubleheaders!  Who else?  James George with the hat trick for the Wings!  Mark Munsterman also with a Wings marker.  Goaler Bobby Rutkoske with a yeoman effort in nets.  Bruce Gooel and John Zuccarini with the Flyers markers as they drop a deuce today.  Gary Enmark(Cross Checking) of the Wings and combative goalie Mike Mostyn(Slashing) of the Flyers get into a “How Do You Do”  and exchange soft pleasantries together.
