WINGS AND FLYERS WITH ONLY ONE WIN – 2 POINTS.

HABS HAVE YET TO ABSCOND A POINT!

HAWKS   4   HABS   2

Deuces wild for John “Shifty” Shelton and Brian Reath.  Captain Shelton, involved in all his teams goals with also two helpers.  Goaler Kirk Larson with a 12 save game.  Al Pyc got the Frenchmen off on the right foot, scoring 49 ticks into the game.  Winger Mike T. Brown scores on the final period’s first shift.  No trips to the sin bin for either team.

BRUINS   4    FLYERS   2

On a proverbial playoff tear – Jimmy “Jets” Galloway with a two goal game.  Singles for line-mate John McNeilly and Captain Rex Baker.  Goaltender “Smoking” Joe Polozzi with another outstanding game in nets!  The Mikes – Riddle and sub Folster score for the Flyers.

SHARKS   4    WINGS    1

Finally playing forward – where he belongs – “Midtown” Mikey Brown is having a very nice playoffs with a deuce in this game.  Singles for the Jeff’s – Funk and Ivory.  Goaltender Billy Mac Jr. with his usual stellar performance in nets.  Young sub Keith Elsey with the lone Wings marker.  Keith was subbing for “Downtown” Jimmy Brown today, as the Wings locker room was a little more tranquil today.  No strangers to the sin bin – the Sharks Lou Suvak(Elbowing) and the Wings Steve Wink(Roughing) hit the box in tandem.

BRUINS    4    SHARKS    1

The red hot Bruins win their second consecutive doubleheader as they jump out to a 3 zip first period lead.  Captain Baker has his team eating right – smoothies and their veggies.  Abstaining from alcohol for the playoffs and absolutely no copulation during the playoffs!  It’s working!  This guy can’t be stopped!  Jimmy “Jets” Galloway with another two goal game.  Jimmy’s center John McNeilly also with the deuce.  Providence call up Steve Bayagich with the hat trick assist.  “Smoking” Joe Polizzi played like the wall Donald Trump dreams about!  Nate McCoughty with the lone Shark goal.  John McNeilly picks up a solo roughing minor penalty.

WINGS    10    HABS   4

Ouch!  The wheels have fallen off for the Habs, as they remain winless in the playoffs!  The Wings record their first victory of the playoffs, as they adhere to the “Book of Dar!”  Score some early goals and it’s downhill from there for the Habs enigmatic puck stopper.  The Wings score six goals in the first period – three of those goals we’re scored in the games first four minutes!  Centers Brian Moore and sub Keith Elsey both with hat tricks!  Grand Rapids call sup Scott Boyzek with a deuce.  Singles for Ryan Boyette and Mike Wilson.  Sub Chodun with three helpers.  Habs – Mike T. Brown(2), Jack Prioux and sub Rob Rowling.

HAWKS   7    FLYERS   2

It was a nice close game entering the final period with the Hawks up just 2-1.  Then Joey Reiss scores his second goal of the game 51 seconds into the final period to commence the onslaught.  Captain John Shelton also with a deuce.  Singles for Timmy “Dutch” Schultz(Also 3 Helpers), Rob “Rickie” Middleton(3 Helpers) and Steve Lemieux.  The Mikes – Riddle and Nalepa tally for the Flyers.
