Up and down hockey at it’s best!  With the goalie pulled and 44 seconds left on the arena clock, Rob Rowling scores his second goal of the game to salvage a tie for the Flyers!  Mike Miller and Marty Papesh with singles.  Center John McNeilly(2), Brian Barker and Steve Bayagich find the back of the net for the Bruins.  Winger Chris Isola with the hat trick assist.

WINGS   8     HABS   3

Whoa!  Tired of being the early season doormat – the Wings take their frustrations out on the surprised Habs!  Muttering to himself following the game: ” Why did I spend all those years playing defense?”  Forward Mr. Craig Bastuba with a huge five goal game!  Nice Game Craig!  Mike Nalpepa with the deuce.  Nick Piccolo with the Wings initial goal.  The Paul’s – Erikson and Violassi both with three helpers.  Even the goalie Dar picked up an assist!  Habs second line center Robbie Olmstead with all three of his teams goals.  This was a penalty free game.

HAWKS   5    SHARKS   2

Deuces wild for the kids – Greg Kalvin and Chad Wooten.  Hawks sub Fouldbash also with a marker.  Goal-keep Kirk Larson with a helper.  Scott Chodun and sub Trevor Thompson tally for the Hawks.

BRUINS   4    WINGS   2

Greg Stacey, Mike Garlick, Brian Barker and Steve Bayagich score for the Bruins as they play a solid game to defeat the Wings.  The ageless Terry Boyette with both Wings goals.

HAWKS    5    FLYERS   0

Behind the splendid shutout goal keeping of Kirk “Captain America” Larson, the Hawks win their second straight doubleheader!  A special shoutout to Hawks injured captain Brendan Brosnan, who did his “Door Whore” duties to perfection!  Greg Kalvin with a two goal game.  Singles for Eddie Sudzina, Mike Folster and Joey Reiss.  Their was a very nasty collision toward’s the end of the game between Billy Knight and Joey Reiss, leaving Reiss very woozy.  No Flyers highlights.  A thumbs up to Pierre Dugas, who had to jump start Mike Folster’s fancy sports car in the parking lot after the game!

HABS   5    SHARKS   4

The Frenchmen send the Sharks to a double dip defeat.  Young Zach Wagner and Robbie Olmstead with two goal games for the Habs.  Brian Moore with a shorthanded breakaway goal, compliments of a tape to tape pass from the opposing Hawks defenseman.  Hawks – Scott Chodun(2) and subs Trevor Thompson and Robbie Montgomery.
