HAWKS   3     BRUINS   1

Hawks sub goalie “Rickie” Nelson was the story in this game as he shined in nets!  Steve “Mario” Lemieux and subs JP and on a breakaway, defenseman Kyle Lybecker score for the Hawks, who sported four subs today.  Joey Reiss with the lone Bruins marker.

FLYERS   4    HABS   1

The Flyers score three unanswered final period goals for the W.  Big Rob Rowling with the deuce.  Singles for “Midtown” Mikey Brown and Pat “The Beast” Wosek.  Goaler Billy Schaugg with a solid game in nets.  It was great to see Flyers sub Frank “Crash” Casalli return to the ice after a life threatening illness!  Welcome back “Crash!”  Captain Bryan Prentice with the Habs goal.

SHARKS   4    WINGS   3

The Sharks spread the scoring around, as Timmy “Dutch” Schultz, Craig Bastuba, “Angry” Joey Ventimiglio and with the game winner – Ward Peterson light the lamp.  Wings sub Paul “Brett Micheals” Violassi(2) and Steve Bayagich tally for the Wings.  Sharks center Jimmy Brown picks up a solo roughing minor penalty.

HAWKS   5    WINGS   2

How bout them Hawks, as they sweep for the day!  Deuces wild for John “Shifty” Shelton and sub Greg Stacey “Keach”.  Steve Lemieux with the Hawks initial marker.  Once again – sub goaler “Hello Mary Lou” Nelson was stellar in nets!  Robbie Olmstead and leading his team in shots on net this game from everywhere, including his own blue line multiple times – right defenseman Jim Puffer score for the Wings.

HABS   5   BRUINS   2

The Frenchmen right the ship as the Bruins drop a deuce today.  John Cornish with a two goal game for the Habs.  Singles for Scott Chodun, Pierre Dugas and Bryan Prentice.  Mike “Padre” Nalepa with both Bruins goal.  His second goal of the short handed variety.

FLYERS   3    SHARKS   3

This was a wild one, as eight penalties in all were called in the game!  All three Sharks goals were scored on the power play!  The Flyers hand the first place Sharks their first non-win of the year.  The Flyers score two late final period goals from Rob Rowling and Mike T. Brown for the tie.  Donnie Riviera with the Flyers initial marker.  “Scowling” Scott Leslie, “Downtown” Jimmy Brown and Billy Mac Jr. score for the Fish.  Flyers defenseman Danny Rea with an unsportsmanlike conduct minor penalty.
