Al Pyc scores the game winning goal 29 ticks into the game as the Habs play a perfect game to take down the Flyers.  Jimmy George with the insurance marker.  No Flyers highlights.

WINGS   3    BRUINS   2

Robbie Porter sweeps down the right wing and goes top shelf to break the 2-2 tie late in the game!  Chuck Mouraine and on a beautiful solo breakaway effort – Ronnie Meltsner also score for the Wings.  Sub goal-keep Billy Papciak with a very solid game in nets.  Keith Foucher and sub Pat Collins tally for the Bruins in this penalty free game.

HAWKS   3    SHARKS   3

“Black” Jack Priauix scores with the goalie pulled and only 22 ticks left on the arena clock to salvage the tie for the Hawks.  Mark Smyth and Steve Orr with power play markers for the Hawks.  The pride of Roseville High School, Gary Szalanski scores twice for the Sharks.  Big Ben Haynes with their middle goal.

FLYERS   3    SHARKS   0

Bobby Rutkoske with the whitewash for the Flyers.  Captain Ryan O’Rourke with the deuce.  Sting rookie Bruce Buntin with the Flyers final goal.  No Shark sightings in this game.

BRUINS    1    HABS   1

Steve Lemieux scores a tying shorthanded goal for the Bruins.  Left defenseman sub Ken Debus scores early in the game for the Habs who are now tied for first place with the Flyers.  Bruins defenseman Chris Zanke was very cranky this game, as he exits the game with his third penalty with still five minutes left in the game!  The winless Bruins are still not out of the  championship race as of yet – albeit they are on life support!

WINGS   4    HAWKS   3

The Wings sweep on the day, as Chuck Mouraine breaks the 3-3 tie with only two minutes left in the contest!  Robbie Porter, Ronnie Meltsner and power play specialist Keith Lutz also tally for the Wings.  Hawks – Billy Hagen, Eddie Higgins and Mark Smyth.  Hawks defenseman Randy Debuel picks up a solo roughing minor penalty.
