STARS 5 BRUINS 2
The natural hat trick for Stars sniper Ronnie Meltsner as he rifles in three final period goals in succession! One of the short handed variety. Howard Smith and scoring at the 36 second mark of the first period – Pat Collins with singles. The line of Meltsner (3 & 2), Collins (1 & 3) and sub “Magnum” Higgins (4 Helpers) total 13 points in the game! As in most Bruins games – Bobby Watson and Dougie Roehl light the lamp.

HABS 2 HAWKS 1
The ageless Parker “You Can Call Me” Johnson, sneaks in from the off wing and buries the final period game winner for the Frenchmen! Jeff “Dick” Tracy with the Habs initial marker. Raising his game to an all new playoff level – Habs goalie Sir Kevin Beebe was simply outstanding in nets! Brian Belloli with the Hawks only goal.

WINGS 2 LEAFS 0
Looks like shrimp galore in the Wings dressing room next week! Superman adds to his burgeoning career shutout total; 231. Big Ben Haynes and Mike Lawson with an insurance power play marker tally for the Wings. No Leafs highlights.

HABS 2 WINGS 0
Making like Ken Dryden – Sir Kevin Beebe is on fire with the whitewash! Kenny “Primetime” Wilkins and “Gentleman” Don Courtley do the honors for the Frenchmen. No Wings highlights.

BRUINS 5 LEAFS 2
Who else? Bob “Bugsy” Watson and Dougie Roehl with deuces wild for the Bruins. Line mate Keith Foucher with a single. Steve “Barney Miller” Dietrich and John Zuccarini score for the Leafs. The Leafs remain winless in the playoffs as they drop their second consecutive doubleheader and wallow in the basement.

STARS 3 HAWKS 1
There’s that line again! Ronnie Meltstner (1 & 2), Pat Collins (2 & 1) and sub Higgins (1 Helper) factor in all of their teams scoring. Stars puck stopper Mike Mostyn with his usual solid effort in nets, as the Stars win their third game in a row to sit on top of the playoff standings. James George with the Hawks goal, as they lose a couple of close games today
