SHARKS   6   HAWKS   1

The Sharks declaw the sub laden Hawks!  Deuces wild for Steve “Barney Miller” Dietrich, Barry Piornack and Joe Plati.  Puck stopper Brian Miller with a nine save game.   Hawks sub “Scowling” Scott Leslie with their lone goal.  The Hawks had six subs today as elder statesman Richie Anderson passed out name tags prior to the game!

WINGS   5     BRUINS   3

Just wind him up and watch him go!  Bob “Bugsy” Watson with a two goal game for the Wings.  Bugsy’s first goal was assisted by Counselor Tom McHugh, as two North Channel Yacht Club members collaberate on the score.  Singles for Al Pyc, Brian Westenberg and skating out today – not in the nets – Mike Allemon!  Nice job Mike!  Bruins – Adam Godard and subs “Freddy” Lynn and Rick Batchelder.  The Wings Al Pyc and the Bruins P. Kaczmarek both incur roughing minor penalties.

HABS   7    FLYERS   2

The Frenchmen put a surprise hurting on the talented Flyers!  Mike Lawson with the tour du chapeau!  Singles for Jim “Jacques” Lemire, Steve Orr and Kenny Wilkins.  Big Ben Haynes and sub Jay Lutz with the Flyers markers.

HABS   5    HAWKS   3

The Habs sweep for the day as the Hawks descend in the other direction today.  “Gentlemen” Don Courtley with a two goal game for the Habs.  Singles for Steve Orr, Kenny “Prime Time” Wilkins and sub Harke.  After glancing at his league leading point total prior to the game.  What glaringly stood out to Mike Ala was that gaudy goals to assists ratio – 12 goals and just three assists!  Mike took care of that today as he had two helpers in game one and three helpers in this game, to up his season totals to 12 goals and 8 assists.  That’s much better Mike!  Don’t want to be labeled a puck hog do we?  Hawks subs – Danny Shannon, Gary Szalanski and Chapie score for the Hawks.  Scott Shurin picks up a solo roughing minor penalty.

WINGS   4    SHARKS   4

A very entertaining contest as both teams pick up three points on the night.  Pat Collins with the trick for the Sharks.  Joe Plati also scored for the Sharks.  Mike Lawson with the deuce for the Wings.  Singles for Bobby Watson and Ronnie Meltsner.

FLYERS   4    BRUINS   2

The Flyers right the ship, as they keep the Bruins winless(0-10) on the season!  Sub Jay Lutz scores twice for the Flyers.  Singles for Keith Foucher and sub Vigi.  Adam Godard and John Perini with the Bruins markers.
