FLYERS    7    SHARKS   1

Gary Enmark scores 55 seconds into the game and the Flyers jump out to an insurmountable 5-0 first period lead!  Mike Ala with the trick.  Pat Collins with a 2 & 4 game.  Singles for Dr. Keri Topouzian and Terry Masserant.  Power forward Kevin Mahon with the Sharks only tally.  No trips to the sin bin for either squad.

HABS   2   BRUINS   1

The Habs pull out a tight one goal victory.  Jeff “Dick” Tracy tommy guns in the game winning goal.  Mike Lawson with the Habs initial marker.  Adam Godard with the Bruins goal.  Both goaltenders – Sir Kevin Beebe and a very late Waterford Mi. acquisition, sub Kirk “Captain America” Larson were outstanding in nets!  The Habs John Perini picks up a solo roughing minor penalty.

HAWKS   4   WINGS    1

The Hawks proceed to score four final period goals to upend the Wings.  Jimmy George commences the carnage 56 ticks into the final period.  Ronnie Meltsner(2) and Al Pyc also find the back of the net.  Hawks sub goalie Wargo stood tall in the nets.  Grand Rapids call up “Magnum” Higgins with the Wings lone marker in this penalty free contest.

FLYERS   5    WINGS   2

The top spot Flyers highlight their offense today, as they total 12 goals in their doubleheader sweep.  Bruce “Cooler Man” Gooel with the deuce.  Singles for Gary Enmark, who bettered his first period goal of last game by 15 seconds.  Scoring this time at the 40 second mark of the first period.  John Zuccarini and scoring in back to back games since he was an eligible AARP member – Terry Masserant round out the Flyers scoring.  “Cooler Man’s” cooler was utilized today, as it was well stocked with libations from the Holidays!  Once again – doing the scoring for the Wings is sub “Magnum” Higgins, who tallies twice for the Wings.  Frustrated Wings member Paulie “Jay” Giles racks up a solo roughing minor penalty in the games last minute, as he could be heard singing “Nothing But A House Party” in the box.

SHARKS   5    BRUINS    0

1-0 entering the final period.  Then the Fish score four unanswered times as they send the Bruins to a double dip defeat today.  Joe Plati with a two goal game.  Singles for Kevin Mahon, Jimmy “Boog” Powell and sub Chapie.  After getting bombarded for a seven spot in game one – sub goaler Rick “Ticker” Chauvin suddenly remembered his wife’s Carol advice: “It’s Only a Game Honey” and spins the whitewash.  No Bruins highlights as they were clawless today.

HABS  4     HAWKS   1

The Frenchmen have now won five straight games!  Ever since Habs Captain Kenny Wilkins taped a critical Curt’s Corner on the locker room wall – these guys are on fire!  All the games scoring was accomplished in the final period.  Captain Wilkins, Mike Lawson, Chris Zanke and Jeff Tracy score for the Habs.  Again – only allowing one black disc behind him – Sir Kevin Beebe was stellar between the pipes!  Sniper Ronnie Meltsner with the Hawks lone marker in this penalty free game.
