The second place Stars remain undefeated in six straight games as rushing defenseman Mike Charison leads the parade with a two goal game. Singles for Tommy Trice and sub Larson. Marcel Dionne like playmaker Pat Collins with the hat trick assist. Goaler Bobby Rutkose with a light workload. Donald Courtley with the Habs marker.
HAWKS 5 BRUINS 3
John Perini scores 42 ticks into the game for the Bruins, only to see the Hawks score three final period goals for the victory. Deuces wild for Jimmy George and Dave “Buckeye” Wahl. Steve Orr with a single. Bobby Watson and Barry Piornack with the other Bruins markers as they remain winless in six consecutive games. Dave “ Hammer” Arsenualt of the Bruins picks up a two minute solo roughing infraction.

Sharp shooter Chuck Mouraine scores twice as the Wings now lead the second place Stars by four points with only one week to go in the regular season. Marty Sell with the Wings middle marker.
