The Hawks sweep for the day as Billy Hagen records the deuce again! Center Steve Orr also with the deuce. Mark Smyth with a single, as the Hawks snap the Habs five game win streak. Jimmy “Boog” Powell scores twice for the Habs and mobile sub defenseman Kenny Debus with a top shelf goal.

Flyers – Sammy Bonanno, Mike Ala, Captain Ryan O’Rourke and penalty minute leader Kevin Maguire. Subs Mike Harke and “Justin “Mickey” Brantley score for the Wings. Early in the final period the Flyers Bruce Buntin and mild mannered Wings sub John Zuccarini get into a “How Do You Do’ and both receive minor roughing and unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.

SHARKS 4 BRUINS 3

Oh boy! This game had plenty of side bars! The Sharks snap their 12 game winless streak behind the extremely boisterous eight person fan base for Sharks defenseman “Pappa” Terry Masserent! Were talking several signs, long plastic horns, bells and the wave, not to mention multiple kids and grand kids! It was good stuff as the Sharks send the Bruins to a double dip defeat. Right winger Gary Szlanski with a two goal game. Singles for Steve “Barney” Miller” Dietrich and sub Paul Violassi. Center Bruce “The Enabler” Gooel with the hat trick assist. Right winger’s Curt Bailey(2) and Keith Foucher score for the Bruins.
