WHEW!  BACK FROM THREE WEEKS IN FLORIDA AS REIGNING FLORIDA PALMS CHAMPIONS AND MVP!

Whoa!  Mr. James George with a huge five goal game!  This guy was on fire!  Chuck Mouraine with the Wings initial goal.  Dave “Buckeye” Wahl, Al Sparks and Mike “Cherry” Charison score for the Flyers.

HAWKS   3    HABS   3

Down two zip – the Hawks proceed to score three final period  goals in just over a three minute span!  Eddie “The Eagle” Higgins, Steve Orr and Jimmy “One Skate” Sauter with the Hawks rapid fire goals.  Mike Ala with the deuce for the Habs.  Kenny “Prime Time” Wilkins with the tying goal in this penalty free game.

BRUINS   4     SHARKS   1

1-1 entering the final period and then the Bruins rip off three final period goals.  Bob “Bugsy” Watson with a two goal game.  Singles for Rob “The Rifleman” Duncan and Al Pyc.  Sharks sub “Jacques” Lemire with their lone tally in this penalty free game.

FLYERS    2    BRUINS   1

John Zuccarini and Billy Hagen do the honors for the Flyers.  As in game one – Rob Duncan tallies for the Bruins.  Both sub net-minders – winning goalie “Joey” Mullen and “Bruce” Sutter with excellent games between the pipes.

WINGS   6    HABS   4

Brian Belloli scores 44 ticks into the game to start the Wings on the victory path.  James George contributes two goals for a remarkable seven goal evening!  Chuck Mouraine with a two goal game.  John “Hal” McRae also with a Wings marker.  Habs – Ronnie Meltsner(2), Mike Lawson and Kenny Wilkins.  Howard Smith of the Habs and Pete Gibb of the Wings both pick up simultaneous holding penalties, as they now qualify for the Arthur Murray School of Dance!

HAWKS  1    SHARKS   1

Puck stoppers Keith Connie and sub Paul Kaczmarek put on a show for the empty arena!  Scott Shurin with the Hawks goal.  Chris Zanke scores for the Sharks as they again only tally once in the game.  No trips to the sin bin for either squad.
