Hawks jump out to a 3 zip lead and never look back!  Jim Chapie with a two goal game.  Singles for Dr. Keri Topouzian, Dave “Buckeye” Wahl, Steve Orr(Also 3 Helpers) and sub “Magnum” Higgins.  Jimmy George with a three assist game.  Howard Smith and subs Paulie Polizzi and Lawson tally for the Stars in this penalty free game.

WINGS    3   BRUINS   1

The Wings defeat the Bruins behind the butterfly style goaltending of Rick “Ticker” Chauvin.  Gary Enmark, Marty Sell and Chuck Mouraine score for the Wings.  John Perini with the Bruins goal.

HABS   2   LEAFS   0

Sir Kevin Beebe records the whitewash for the Frenchmen.  Career shutout number seven for the knighted one!  Mike Lawson with both Habs markers.  No Leafs highlights.

BRUINS   2   HAWKS   1

A well played game as both teams split for the day!  Providence call up Al Pyc with the game winner for the Bruins.  John Perini with the Bruins initial goal.  Jimmy “Boog” Powell with the Hawks score.  Both goalers – Mike Mostyn and “Sugar” John Marchin were stellar in nets!

STARS   4    HABS   2

Stars sub Lawson scores at the games one minute mark, to kick start the Stars.  Fore checking machine sub Paulie “Knuckles” Pollizi scores the Stars final two goals.  Mike “Cherry” Charison chips in with a goal.  David Walters and Donald Courtley with the Habs goals.

WINGS    4    LEAFS   1

The Wings vault into first place in the standings as they keep the Leafs winless after ten games into the season.  There are rumblings of Leafs management being on the hot seat!  All the games goal scoring is achieved in the final period.  Gary Enmark, Gerry Krause, Marty Sell and John Zuccarini do the honors for the Wings.  Sub goaler Rick “Ticker” Chauvin was solid in nets.  Dave Wargo with the lone Leafs marker.
