WINGS   1     HAWKS   1

A goaltending battle between Keith Connie of the Hawks and Wings sub Rick “Ticker” Chauvin, who was recalled from the deep minors for this emergency start!  Doug Wargo scores two minutes into the final period for the Hawks.  Not to be outdone – Chuck Mouraine reciprocates exactly nine seconds later for the Wings!  No trips to the box for either team.

BRUINS   4     HABS   2

The Bruins score all their goals in the final period for the W!  Rob “The Rifleman” Duncan with a two goal game.  Singles for Bobby Watson and Adam Godard.  Mike Lawson and Don Courtley tally for the Frenchmen in another penalty free game.

FLYERS   4     SHARKS   1

The Flyers score their first two goals of the game 44 seconds apart in the first period to propel them to the victory.  Sting rookie Billy Hagen with the deuce.  John Zuccarini and Keith Foucher with singles.  Goaltender Mike Mostyn was stellar between the pipes.  Al “Mike” Phipps was the only Shark to solve Mr. Mostyn.  Something was in the air for today’s game one’s – as again – a penalty free game!

FLYERS   2    WINGS   1

As in game one – Flyers puck stopper Mike Mostyn only allows one disk behind him!  Bruce “Cooler Man” Gooel and Al Platt with the Flyers markers.  Jimmy George with the offensively challenged Wings only goal.

SHARKS   3    BRUINS   0

Goaler Mike Schmlimgen tosses a shutout for the Fish!  Al Phipps, Steve “Barney Miller” Dietrich and retiree Gary Syzlanski score for the Sharks.  No Bruins highlights.

HAWKS    7    HABS   2

Mr. Mark Smyth with his first ever four goal game!  Doug Wargo with the deuce.  Eddie “The Eagle” Higgins with the game winning goal.  Kenny “Prime Time” Wilkins with both Habs markers as they drop a deuce today.
