BRUINS    3    FLYERS   2

Chuck Mouraine scores twice for the Bruins as they defeat the Flyers in a tight game.  Dougie Roehl with the Bruins middle marker.  Pat Berry and Paulie Polizzi tally for the Flyers.  Both goalies – Mike Schlimgen of the Bruins and Bobby Rutkoske of the Flyers with excellent games in nets!  The Flyers were not happy by one of the referee’s performance this game to say the least.  Polizzi incurs a tripping penalty and then gets slapped with a minor unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.  Sting rookie Jeff Morton gets an early game exit, with two ten minute unsportsmanlike penalties and a game misconduct penalty.

Deuces wild for Jeff Tracy, Dave Herkowitz and Jimmy “Boog” Powell as the Frenchmen rout the Wings!  Kenny Debus also scores for the Habs.  Eddie Higgins with the lone Wings goal.

SHARKS   4    HAWKS   4

Hawks up 4-3 entering the final stanza only to see Doug Beck tie it up for the Sharks.  Bruce Gooel scores 18 ticks into the game for the Sharks.  Sub Mike Garlick with a Shark two goal game.  Hawks – Billy Hagen, Bo Altherr, Brian Belloli and sub Bobby Watson.

HAWKS   7    FLYERS   1

The top spot Hawks send the Flyers to a double dip loss today!  Hawks sub Bob “Bugsy” Watson with the deuce.  Singles for Brian Belloli(Also 3 helpers), Billy Hagen, Mark Smyth, Bo Altherr and sub “Hans” Brinker.  This was game three today for Hawks sub goalie “Ticker” Chauvin as he played pick-up in the morning!  Flyers Captain Ryan O’Rourke with a beautiful short side backhand goal.  Billy Hagen picks up a four minute unsportsmanlike conduct penalty by the same short fused official in the Bruins/Flyers game.

SHARKS   5     HABS   4

Bruce Gooel snaps the 4-4 tie as goalie Brian Miller assists on the game winning goal!  Ben Haynes scores on his first two shifts of the game.  Gary Szylanski and sub Mike Garlick also tally for the Fish who are undefeated in their past two doubleheaders.  Mike Ala and Adam Godard both with two goal games for the Habs.

BRUINS   7    WINGS   0

Ouch!  The Bruins score seven times in the first period and then show some mercy on the reeling Wings, who have now allowed 25 goals in their past two doubleheader losses!  Chuck Mouraine with the trick.  Singles for Steve Lemieux(Also 3 Assists), Robbie Porter(Also 3 assists), David Gaskey and a breakaway goal by Keri Topouzian.  Mike Schlimgen with the relatively easy whitewash.  Absolutely zero Wings highlights in this penalty free game.
