Both teams play a scoreless final period as this nail biter ends in a stalemate!  Both puck stoppers – Bobby Rutkoske and Habs sub Rick “Ticker” Chauvin put on a show for the empty arena, as Bruins sub Kevin Mahon says: “It must be a late arriving crowd!”  Yea right Kevin!  Habs sub Lawson and Adam Godard score the games goals three minutes apart.

WINGS   4    HAWKS   4

Another tie!  Al Pyc scores to put the Wings up 4-3 with a minute left in the game!  Then Hawks slick center sub Gary Szalanski ties the game up with the goalie pulled with just under 30 seconds left in the contest!  Bob “Bugsy” Watson with the deuce for the Wings.  Sniper Ronnie Meltsner with a single goal.  Bruce “Cooler Man” Gooel, Scott Shurin and Pete Gibb tally for the Hawks.

Sharks net-minder Brian Miller told his teammates before the game: “I feel good – just let me see the puck!”  Brian was right, as he shuts-out’s the high flying Flyers!  Steve “Barney Miller” Dietrich with the deuce.  Dougie Wargo with the middle goal.  No trips to the sin bin for either squad.

FLYERS   4    WINGS   3

The top spot Flyers right the ship as they spread out the scoring.  Brian Belloli, Jimmy George, Ben Haynes and comeback player of the year candidate, Keith Foucher tally for the Flyers.  Wings – Al Pyc, “Counselor” Tom McHugh and Ronnie Meltsner.  Once again – this was a penalty free game.

Deuces wild for Bruins subs “Hans” Brinker and Steve “Mario” Lemieux!  David Walters and Barry Piornack do the honors for the Fish.

HAWKS   4    HABS   2

The resurgent Hawks remain undefeated in their past five contests!  Scott Shurin with the game winning goal.  Mark Smyth, Jack Jenereaux, and sub Gary Szalanski with singles.  Kenny “Prime Time” Wilkins and Mike Lawson light the lamp for the Frenchmen in another penalty free game.
