Hawks up 2-1 and seemingly in control of the game.  Then the sub laden Bruins(5 subs today) score three times in the games last three minutes to steal the W!  Adam Godard, Chuck Mouraine and subs Raber and Kenny Schaeffler(EN) score for the Bruins.  Curt Bailey and Rob Halbhuber with the Hawks markers.

Sir Kevin Beebe and the Habs dominate this contest.  Cam “Steam Boat” Lawrence with the deuce.  Singles for John Perini, Marty Sell and Jimmy “Boog” Powell.  Kenny “Prime Time” Wilkins with the tour du chapeau assist.  The Robb’s – Porter and Lee score for the Flyers.

The Sharks sport five subs today as they dismiss the Wings in fine fashion.  Sub goaler Rick “Ticker” Chauvin with a very light workload in this contest.  Big Ben Haynes with the hat trick.  Subs Gary Szalanski and “Magnum” Higgins with two goals apiece.  Paulie Polizzi with a single and three helpers.  Master facilitator on the back end – Chris Zanke with the hat trick assist.  Al Pyc with the lone Wings goal in this penalty free game.

Da Sharks sweep as they total 15 goals in today’s doubleheader!  The Sharks fans were having a blast in the stands, as they danced to their version of the cartoon Baby Shark song!  Those of you who have grandkids know what I’m talking about.  Ben Haynes with a two goal game and five total on the day!  Singles for Glenn Pareskevin(Also 3 Helpers), Paulie Polizzi, Chris Zanke and sub “Magnum” Higgins.  The triple R’s score for the Flyers – Robert E. Lee, Rob Porter and on a great feed from Steve Orr – Ryan O’Rourke.

WINGS    5      HAWKS   3

The Wings score four times in the games first ten minutes as they hold on for the victory.  Jimmy George with a two goal game.  Singles for Paulie “Jay” Giles, Al Pyc and JP.  Sub goalie Smyth with several outstanding saves!  Hawks – Rob Halbhuber, Barry Piornack and Kenny Perko, with a seeing eye shot from the far boards.  It is extremely evident that the reeling Hawks, who have won only one game in their last eight, miss their regular goalie Mike Mostyn, who remains on the extended DL list.  Get well soon Mike – we need you!

BRUINS    1     HABS   1

A goaltenders battle between Sir Kevin and Bobby Rutkoske!  0-0 entering the final stanza.  Then – John “The Little Ball of Hate” Perini finds the back of the net for the Frenchmen.  Brian Belloli of the Bruins goes five hole two minutes later, as the game ends in a hard fought tie.  The Habs are now tied for first place in the standings with the Wings.  No trips to the sin bin for either squad.
