LISTEN UP BOYS!

THE THURSDAY(5:00P.M.) AND SUNDAY(8:45 A.M.) PICKUP SKATES ARE IN DIRE NEED OF COMMITTED PLAYERS!

IT WOULD BE A SHAME IF WE LOST THESE PREMIUM ICE SLOTS.

PLEASE CONSIDER ATTENDING THESE SKATES.

HABS   4    FLYERS   3

Flyers jump out to an early 2-0 lead, only to see these hard working Frenchmen roar back with four first period goals and the W!  Right winger Curt Bailey with a two goal game.  Brian Belloli and on a beautiful breakaway shake and bake goal, Mike Ala dent the twine.  Ryan O’Rourke, Sam Bonanno and sub Paul Vioalssi score for the Flyers.

BRUINS   4    HAWKS   3

Bruins sub Matt Lawson snaps the 3-3 tie with a power play goal with just over a minute left in the contest.  Reverting back to his days of his youth and the Northland hockey stick – Joe Plati with the natural hat trick!  Hawks – Jeff Tracy, Jimmy George and Robbie Porter, who could nothing but watch in the box in the games final minute.

WINGS   3     SHARKS   0

Bobby Rutkoske with the whitewash!  Al Sparks, David Herkowitz and sub Scott Leslie tally for the Wings.  No red flags on the beach, as their were zero Shark sightings.

WINGS   4     HAWKS   1

The top spot Wings sweep for the day, as they are now undefeated in their past seven games!  Leading by example, Captain Paul Giles with the deuce.  Singles for sub Dougie Roehl and after being loaned to the Flyers last week as a goalie and playing very well by the way, Mark Smyth.  Bobby Rutkoske with another strong game in nets.  Hawks sub Mike Harke with their lone goal.

BRUINS   3    HABS   1

The Bruins and goalie Rick “Ticker” Chauvin play a strong game and sweep on the day!  “Ticker” stoned speedy center Mike Ala on three breakaways!  Right defenseman Chris Zanke lights the lamp twice. Mike Lawson with the Bruins final tally.  Get this.  The Habs wreck “Ticker’s” shutout as Robert Stempian scores at the games final buzzer!  Ouch!

SHARKS    5    FLYERS   1

The red flags were on the beach this game, as the Sharks manhandle the reeling Flyers.  Sub Gary Szalanski scores twice for the Sharks.  Singles for Rob Lee, Ben Haynes and Steve Dietrich.  Right defenseman Bruce Gooel who was wheeling and dealing all game, with the hat trick assist.  Al Pyc scores for the Flyers who now have lost five of their past six games.  Ever since the new jersey’s arrived it’s been downhill.  There are rumblings the Flyers are going back to the old jersey’s!
