Doing his “Midtown” Mikey Brown impersonation – Sharks sub Danny Shannon scores two unassisted goals for the Sharks.  Danny’s first goal was of the power play variety.  Kenny “Prime Time” Wilkins and Mike Lawson score for the Frenchmen.  Both goalies – “Sir” Kevin Beebe and Brian Miller shined in nets.

FLYERS   4     HAWKS   1

The Flyers play a good solid game game as they defeat the Hawks.  Brian Belloli, Ben Haynes, Al Sparks and Keith Foucher tally for the Flyers.  Net-minder Mike Schlimgen was stellar between the pipes.  Peter Gibb was the only Hawk to solve Schlimgen.

Da Sharks and goalie Brian Miller defeat the previously top spot Wings!  After winning back to back doubleheaders – the Wings now drop a deuce today and descend into second place in the standings.  Steve “Barney Miller” Dietrich with a two goal game.  Singles for Joe Plati and sub Danny Shannon.  Ronnie Meltsner with the Wings marker.

BRUINS   5    HAWKS   1

The Bruins sweep for the day behind the hat trick of Adam Godard.  John Perini and Rob Duncan with Bruins goals.  Sub P. Kaczmarek with a four helper game.  Goalie Bobby Rutkoske with a ten save shutout.  As in game one – Peter Gibb with the lone Hawks goal.

With today’s doubleheader sweep, the Flyers vault into first place!  1-0 Flyers entering the final period.  Then the scoring began!  Flyers sub Lawson with the hat trick.  Once again – Ben Haynes and Keith Foucher light the lamp for the Flyers.  Mike Lawson and Al Platt score for the Frenchmen in this penalty free game.
