HAWKS   9    WINGS   1

Whoa!  This powerhouse Hawks team is going to be really hard to slow down this season!  They are just loaded with offensive talent!  Kudos to Hawks draft master Pat Collins!  Deuces wild for Captain Pat Collins, Steve Orr and sub Steve Lemieux.  Singles for Mark Smyth and the Al’s – Pyc and Sparks.  Randy Debuel with his first career four assist game!  The Hawks incur four penalties in the game – didn’t matter.  Mark Munsterman with the lone Wings highlight.

BRUINS   2    HABS   2

Rob “The Rifleman” Duncan snipes in the late game tying goal for the Bruins.  Adam Goddard with the Bruins first period marker.  Kenny Wilkins and reminiscent of another player wearing the famed Canadians number nine jersey – Jeff Ivory, with a Rocket Richard type goal!  Both goalies – Sir Kevin Beebe and Mike Mostyn were solid between the pipes.

FLYERS   7   SHARKS   2

Bruce “Cooler Man” Gooel and Bob “Bugsy” Watson both with two goal games for the Flyers.  Singles for Mike “Cherry” Charrison, Dr. and author Keri Topouzian and Robert E. Lee.  Sharks sub “Magnum” Higgins and Ben Haynes(SH) tally for the Fish.

This guy loves bad angle shots!  Cam “Steamboat” Lawrence with a bad angle late game tying goal for the Habs!  John “Hal” McRae with the Habs first marker.  The Habs play a great game and deny the talent laden Hawks their first two point game!  Al Sparks and sub Steve “Mario” Lemieux score for the Hawks.  Both goalies – Sir Kevin Beebe and Bobby Rutkoske shined in nets!

BRUINS   7     SHARKS   1

Oh boy!  It could be a long season for these winless Sharks!  6.0 goals against ain’t going to cut it!  Mr. James George with a huge four goal game!  Line-mate Chuck Mouraine with a goal and four helpers.  Mike Harke and Rick Batchelder with singles.  The second place Bruins remain undefeated in this young season.  As in game one – sub “Magnum” Higgins scores for the Sharks.  No trips to the sin bin for either squad.

FLYERS   5    WINGS   2

Flyers sweep for the day and the Wings descend in the other direction today.  Bruce Gooel with another two goal game for the Flyers.  Singles for Robert E. Lee, Bobby Watson and sub Lawson.  This one’s for Mom!  Wings forward Keith Foucher with both Wings goals, in honor of his Mom who passed away this past week!  The league sends it’s sincere condolences to yourself, your brother Dane and the rest of your family!
