Master facilitator left wing “Gentleman” Don Courtley sets up all three Habs markers.  Mike Ala with the deuce and Jimmy Chapie with the game winner.  Chris Raber and James George tally for the Flyers in this penalty free game.

SHARKS   2    WINGS   2

Eddie “The Eagle” Higgins scores late in the game to enable the Sharks to pick up their first point of the year.  Al Pyc with the Sharks initial goal.  Marty Sell and General Robert E. Lee were the Wings marksman.  Both puck stoppers – “Sugar” John Marchin and Mike Schlimgen with outstanding games in nets!

HAWKS   5     BRUINS   2

Steve Lemieux of the Bruins scores his first of two goals 50 seconds into the game.  Nine seconds later, the red hot Brian Belloli scores for the Hawks, as they never look back!  Mark Smyth, Rob “Hurricane” Halbulber, Bruce Gooel and Billy Hagen round out the Hawks scoring.  Goalie Brian Miller with a strong game in nets.

Deuces wild for Bruce Gooel and Rob Halbulber as the Hawks sweep on the day.  Pat Collins with a shorthanded marker and scoring in his fourth consecutive game to start the season, Brian Belloli with singles.  Steve Orr, Tommy Oswald and Paulie “Jay” Giles score for the Wings.

HABS   4    BRUINS    0

Complete domination in this contest, as the Habs only allow five shots at most on their net.  The Frenchmen played a complete and well rounded game!  Right winger Curt Bailey with the tour du chapeau.  Center Mike Ala with a nifty move as he scores high into the net.  Mike Lawson and Bowling For Dollars host, sub “Bob” Allison with the hat trick assist.  The woebegone Bruins drop their fourth straight.

FLYERS   3    SHARKS   1

Chuck Mouraine of the Flyers scores twelve ticks into the contest and goalie Bobby Rutkoske does the rest, as the Flyers keep the Sharks winless on the season.  James George and Captain Ryan O’Rourke with singles.  Steve Dietrich with the lone Shark goal in this penalty free game.
