CARLITOS RETURNS FROM CABO!

FLYERS   4    SHARKS   1

The Flyers win their third straight game as they defeat the visiting Sharks.  Sam Bonanno, Al Pyc, sub Jimmy Powell and on an absolutely dazzling in close top shelf backhand – Kevin Maguire score for the Flyers.  Goal-keep Brian Miller was excellent in nets.  Ben Haynes with the lone Shark goal.  Sharks sub Paul Vioalssi had no less than 15 prime opportunities to score.  But in his own words: “The net kept moving on me!”  Flyers enforcer Paulie “Knuckles” Polizzi picks up a solo roughing minor penalty.

WINGS   4     HAWKS   3

Moved up to left wing today, Ken Debus with a two goal game.  Singles for Mark Smyth and Al Sparks.  Keri Topouzian, Adam Godard and Jimmy George tally for the Hawks in this penalty free game.

BRUINS   4     HABS   0

Providence call up goalie “Sugar” John Marchin spins the whitewash for the Bruins!  Captain Bob “Bugsy” Watson with a two goal game.  Singles for Ronnie Meltsner and Rob “Nifty” Middleton.  No Habs highlights.

WINGS   4    FLYERS   1

A complete game as their ever was by the Wings, as they allow maybe three shots on their goalie!  Wings play a 1-4 and allow the Flyers zero room on the ice!  Chuck Mouriane with the deuce.  Ken Debus and Mark Smyth also dent the twine.  Flyers sub Jimmy “Boog” Powell with their marker.

HABS   5    HAWKS   2

The Frenchmen right the ship and send the Hawks to a double dip defeat.  Robert Stempian with a two goal game.  Singles for Pat Collins, Mike Ala and power winger “Gentleman” Don Courtley.  Hawks – Keri Topouzian and sub Dougie Roehl.  Counselor Tom McHugh lobbies his way to an unsportsmanlike conduct minor penalty.

SHARKS   4   BRUINS   3

The battle for first place as the Sharks defeat the Bruins and now both teams are tied for the top spot in the standings.  Guess the net didn’t move this game, as sub Paul Vioalssi scores twice!  Bo Altherr and Eddie “The Eagle” Higgins with singles.  Dave Debrincat, Bobby Watson and Mike Lawson tally for the men in yellow.
