SHARKS   4     BRUINS   3

“Downtown” Jimmy Brown leads the Sharks with a two goal game!  Singles for sub’s FSD’S Trevor Thompson and longtime feature hockey player Scott Davenport.  John McNeilly(SH) and playing some of the best hockey in his later years in life – “Angry” Joey Ventimiglio(2) with Bruins markers.  Bruins Captain Rex Baker with two trips to the sin bin with a solo roughing minor included.

FLYERS   3   WINGS   1

This top notch Flyers team prevails over the Wings.  What a steal!  Fourth round pick Steve Bittner with a two goal game for the Flyers.  Mike “King of the Road” Miller with the Flyers initial marker.  Kirk “Captain America” Larson was once again stellar between the pipes for the men in orange!  Big Rob Rowling with the lone Wings marker.

HABS    4   HAWKS   3

Nice thrice comeback for the Frenchmen.  Hawks up 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2.  The Habs break the 3-3 tie and steal the W from the Hawks!  Captain Bryan Prentice with the deuce.  Singles for Rob “Rickie’ Middleton and Pierre Dugas.  Hawks – Captain John “Shifty” Shelton, Scott Leslie and on a absolute rocket of a slap-shot  – Steve Wink.  No trips to the sin bin for either squad.

FLYERS   3     BRUINS   3

Slick Flyers center Brian Moore scores his second goal of the game, late in the final period, to secure the tie for the Flyers – who are now undefeated in their past five games!  Line-mate Mike Miller also with a Flyers goal.  Joey Ventimiglio, Rex Baker and John Cornish score for the men in yellow.  A little bad blood  here, as top centers John McNeilly and Brian Moore both hit the box late in the game with roughing minors and a lot of four letter words included!

HABS   7     WINGS   3

The top spot Frenchmen play with five subs today and still sweep the board!  Deuces wild for Bryan Prentice and sub Scott Chodun.  Twice this season Scott has played for good buddy Nate McNoughtry.  Scott is 4-0 and Nate is 1-1.  Hmm!  Larry Rowe, Pierre Dugas and former Marine and current school teacher Rob Middleton with singles.  Kudos to sub Habs net-minder Mike Schmiglin, who was absolutely outstanding in nets today subbing for longtime Sting member Dar, who is recovering from serious surgery.  Rob Rowling , Mike Nalepa and “Midtown” Mikey Brown tally for the cellar dweller Wings, who still have not registered a win this season!  Mike Brown’s goal was a thing of beauty – as went through every Wings player twice and then buried the puck!

SHARKS   5     HAWKS   3

Minus Billy Mac Jr and Mike Riddle – the Sharks sweep for the day, as the Hawks go in the other direction! Jeff Ivory(2), Brian Barr, “Downtown” Jimmy Brown and sub Trevor Thompson tally for the Fish.  Moved to forward today – Steve Wink scores again for the Hawks – this time 46 ticks into the game!  John Shelton and Robbie Olmstead also with Hawks markers.
