LEAFS 3 HABS 3
A well played hockey game as Jeff Ivory and Bryan Prentice each score twice for their respective teams. Leafs sub Rob Duff with their initial marker. Craig Bastuba with the Habs middle marker. No trips to the sin bin for either squad.

STARS 3 WINGS 1
The Stars and goaltender Mark Luscki shut down the high powered Wings. Mike Riddle with a two goal game. “Midtown” Mikey Brown with the Stars insurance goal. Big Mike Folster with the lone Wings goal. Wings ticking time bomb Andy Helmuth allegedly expectorated on the Stars Lloyd Rogers! That happened to me once 21 years ago in the C rink at Fraser Hockeyland.

BRUINS 3 HAWKS 2
A heart breaker for the Hawks. The Bruins score twice in the games last two minutes to steal the W away from the exasperated Hawks! Bruins sub Nate McCaughtry scores both of the Bruins late goals. The game winner on a stone cold breakaway from center ice with seconds left on the game clock. How in the world did he get that open? Pierre Dugas and scoring in his fifth straight game Paulie “Knuckles” Polizzi score for the Hawks. Hawks sub goaltender Miller was outstanding in nets.

HABS 7 BRUINS 4
Not too much D in this game! Deuces wild for Craig Bastuba and Ryan Boyette. Singles for Bryan Prentice and subs Terry Boyette and Darren Hotts. Al Pyc(2) and subs Mike T. Brown and Nate McCaughtry score for the men in yellow.

LEAFS 4 STARS 1
Playing on his brand new Graff skates, Rob Duff knew he had to step up his game today subbing for star center Brian Moore. And he did, with a two goal game! Although his second goal was of the empty net variety. Timmy “Dutch” Schultz and Steve Bittner with singles. Billy Mac Jr. with a strong game in nets. Donnie Riviera with the lone Star goal.

WINGS 2 HAWKS 0
Sporting a nice sun tan from his Hawaiian vacation, Wings net minder Dar with the whitewash! Grand Rapids call up Danny Caton with the game winner. With his wife in attendance – “Downtown” Jimmy Brown with the insurance goal. The Hawks drop their ninth consecutive game, as they simply cannot put the puck into the net! Again – Hawks sub goaltender Miller with a stellar game between the pipes. Andy Helmuth and Ward Peterson go off to the box in tandem with minor unsportsmanlike penalties. Ward must have touched his stick. Hawks sub Dr. Ron Mantuefel picks up a double unsportsmanlike penalty.
