Grand Rapids call up Kostesich scores the Wings final two goals to pass the audition.  Nate Wagner and Ryan Boyette with the Wings first two goals.  Goaler Joe Polizzi had the glove hand working this game.  Greg Stacey and John Cornish with the Sharks makers.

HABS   3    FLYERS   1

Habs goalie Billy Schaugg was remarkable this game – turning shot after shot away!  Big Rob Rowling with the deuce.  Pat “The Beast” Wosek with the middle marker and game winning goal.  Master facilitator Joey Reiss with the tour du chapeau assist.  Trevor Wrobel was the only Flyer to solve Mr. Schaugg.

BRUINS   6    HAWKS   1

Deuces wild for Jeff Steiber(Also 3 Helpers), Mike Nalepa and Jim Robie!  Goalie Gordy Nadolsky was stellar in nets.  David Rupprecht with the lone Hawks goal.  Jim Robie of the Bruins was assessed a solo roughing minor penalty.

SHARKS   5    FLYERS   3

The Sharks get back on track with an uplifting victory against the Flyers, as the Flyers start quick and score twice in the games first three minutes!  Five different Sharks populate the net:  Dougie Roehl, Greg Stacy, Mike Krueger, Dave West and returning from a multiple week sabbatical – Nate McNaughtry.  Mike Garlick pitched in with three assists.  Lehigh Valley call up Micolo scores twice for the Flyers.  The red hot Trevor Wrobel scores 23 ticks into the game.  Longtime General Motors employee Mark Rogers with the hat trick assist.

BRUINS   9     HABS   6

Da Bruins don’t mess around this week, as they score seven times in the first period and 15 times in today’s games for the sweep!  Reverting back to his days in the reknown NorthWest League – Mike Riddle with the hat trick!  Two goals apiece for Jeff Steiber, line-mate Mike Nalepa and Jamie Smith.  Rex Baker with three assists, as he was spotted conversing with the scorekeeper at times!  Rob Rowling with another two goal game for the Habs.  Singles for Ken Kluz, Anthony Amato and the Paul’s – Violassi and Erikson.

HAWKS   7     WINGS   3

The second place Hawks defeat the first place Wings for a second consecutive time, as they continue to make their statement!  Former Michigan State Senator Patrick Colbeck lookalike(Picture Below) Brian Moore with the natural hat trick!  John Poolton with a two goal game.  Singles for Larry “School Boy” Rowe(SH) and Danny Rea.  The Hawks had their PK working today, as they successfully killed off four penalties and scored to boot!  Wings: Rob Giroux, Kurt Salvatore and sub Kostesich.
