Sharks up 2-1 with eight minutes left in the contest.  Then the pride of St. Norbert’s College in Wisconsin – “Angry” Joey Ventimiglio scores on consecutive shifts to lift the Bruins to the W!  Mike Nalepa with the Bruins initial goal.  Mike Garlick and Steve Lemieux score for the Sharks.  Winning goalie Billy Schaugg and Sharks sub goalie Bissell with excellent games in nets!

HAWKS   6    HABS   2

Whoa!  The top spot Hawks score six first period goals to rout the Frenchmen!  Jeff Funk with the deuce.  Singles for Rob Giroux, Scott Chodun, Sub Dana Boyette and returning from his Florida honeymoon – Zach Wagner.  Rob Hergott and Pierre Dugas tally for the Habs. A little upset after not being invited to Zach Wagner’s wedding, Joey Reiss and Zach take turns chopping each other as they hit the box in tandem.

Hawks take a 3-0 first period lead and hang on for the stirring victory.  Zach Wagner, Robbie Olmstead and Scott Mitchell score for the Hawks.  Nate McNaughtry with both Sharks goals as they dip to the cellar today with the double DH loss.  Hawks goalie Billy Papciak and Sharks sub goalie Bissell with strong games between the pipes.  Sharks sub Ryan Boyette and the Hawks Rob Giroux both incur roughing minor penalties with seconds remaining in the contest.

HABS   7    BRUINS   3

The Habs put a hurting on the Bruins as they score two shorthanded goals in the game!  Deuces wild for Rob Rowling and sub Jeff “Marine” Steiber.  Singles for Jimmy “Jets'” Galloway, Rob Hergott and sub Piccolo.  Goaler “Smoking” Joe Polizzi shined in nets!  Captain Rex Baker, Mike “Padre” Nalepa and Brian Moore do the honors for the Bruins.
