1-0 Habs entering the final stanza – then the Frenchmen rattle off three final period goals for the W. Jeff Sands, Kyle Lybecker, Bob Rowling and sub Billy “The Kid” Szkodzinski – the French marksman. No Stars were out tonight in this penalty free game.

WINGS 3 LEAFS 2
“Downtown” Jimmy Brown banks the puck off the derriere of Leafs netminder Billy Mac. Jr. for the game winning goal, in this entertaining contest. Slick center John McNelly with the Wings first two markers. Puck stopper Dar was outstanding in nets for the Wings. The Mikes – Nalepa and Ala score for the Leafs.

HAWKS 4 BRUINS 2
Deuces wild for Captain John Shelton and winger Marty Papesh. “Smoking” Joe Polizzi with a yeoman’s effort in nets for the Hawks. Bruins sub “Marine” Steiber with both of their goals. Goaler Kirk “Captain America” with an assist.

HABS 4 BRUINS 3
The woebegone Bruins score 30 ticks into the game – could be a good sign for this last place team? Nah! The Bruins drop their tenth game in a row as trade rumors abound. Mike Krueger, Robbie Olmstead, Kyle Lybecker and sub Billy Szkodzinski light the lamp for the Habs, who are tied with the Wings for first place, as they win their third straight doubleheader. Todd Brown, and subs “Marine” Steiber and Chris Isola tally for the men in yellow.

WINGS 5 HAWKS 1
The Wings keep pace with their first place counterparts the Habs, as they dismantle the Hawks in this penalty free game. Wings – Dana Boyette, Jimmy Brown, John McNelly, Scott Bozyk and sub Robert Duff. A hearty welcome back to the ice for Hawks sub Rob “Charlie” Waters who has been battling numerous health issues. Nice goal Charlie!

LEAFS 7 STARS 1
Ouch! The Leafs take advantage of the wandering Stars defenseman and have a field day! Mr. Mike Nalepa with a huge 4 goal game! Singles for Danny Shannon(SH) and the Mike’s – Ala and Riddle. “Angry” Joey Ventimiglio with the hat trick assist. Leafs puck stopper Billy Mac Jr. with a relatively light workload. Steve Bittner scores a late final period goal for the Stars as they avert a double dip whitewash.

It has only happened three times in NHL history that three brothers have played for the same team at the same time! Name the brothers and the teams.
