FLYERS   2     HABS   1

Marty Papesh scores a shorthanded goal and Larry “School Boy” Rowe produces the game winner for the top spot Flyers!  Charlie Eslinger with the Habs marker.  Flyers goalie Steve Bissell and Habs puck stopper Rodney Heid both with stellar games in nets!

SHARKS  6   WINGS   3

Two minutes into the game Dougie Roehl of the Sharks picks up a hooking penalty.  The Sharks proceed to score two shorthanded goals as Dougie watched from the box.  Scott Chodun of the Sharks skates by the box and told Dougie too stay in there as long as he wants!  Mike Akins with a two goal game for the Fish.  Singles for Mike Garlick, John Siedlik, Zach Wagner and sub Dave Rupprecht.  Mike Nalepa, Nate Wagner and Waz Sarweh score for the Wings.

BRUINS   6     HAWKS   2

All the games scoring was accomplished in the final period.  Chris Robillard scores twice for the Bruins.  Singles for Steve Lemieux, Jeff Funk, James Robie and Jordan Roberts.  Top guns Brian Moore and Scott Davenport with the Hawks markers in this penalty free game.

SHARKS   3    FLYERS   2

Mike Garlick snaps the 2-2 tie with just under a minute left in the contest as the Sharks sweep on the day!  Zach Wagner and sub Nick Piccolo with first period Sharks goals.  Eddie Sudzina and Jeff “Marine” Steiber tally for the Bruins.  What a very entertaining goalie competition this game was!  Grizzled veteran Billy Schaugg reverts back to his Notre Dame High School days and Steve Bissell of the Flyers turn away shot after shot!

HABS    6    BRUINS   3

Charlie Eslinger with the deuce for the Bleu, Blanc et Rouge.  The Joes – Ventimiglio and Robillard, Andy Bergeson and Paul Erikson also with Habs markers.  Brain Hanlin, Steve Lemieux and brother Chris Robillard score for the men in yellow.

HAWKS   4    WINGS   1

Scott Davenport leads the Hawks with the deuce.  Singles for Paul Vioalssi and Brian Moore.  Goaler Billy Papciak with a strong showing between the pipes.  Mike Nalepa scores for the last place Wings as they are now winless in their past five games.
