FLYERS   7     SHARKS   4

4-4 entering the final stanza.  Then the Flyers promptly score twice in first two minutes of the final period and hold the Sharks scoreless in the period.  Trevor Wrobel with the hat trick for the Flyers.  Lehigh Valley call up Rob “Larry” Giroux with a two goal game.  Singles for the Mikes – Ala and Brown.  Sting rookies Hank Richardson and Jim Bulgarelli, Nate McNaughtry and sub Keith Elsey score for the Sharks.

Deuces wild for the Wings  Zach Wagner, Anthony Amato and Rob Montgomery.  David Rupprecht with a 1 & 3 game.  Brian Moore with even strength and shorthanded goals and assists on the Hawks other two goals.  Chris Robillard and sub Scott Davenport with singles.  

HABS   4     BRUINS   1

Sting rookie Greg “Darryl” Sutter plays an outstanding game and stones the Bruins time after time!  Rob Rowling, John Crisi, Charlie Eslinger and sub Paul Erikson tally for the Frenchmen.  Last seasons Championship game MVP Mark Piccolo, with the lone Bruins marker in this penalty free game.    

WINGS    4     FLYERS   2

The Wings sweep on the day, as they currently sit comfortably in the top spot in the standings!  The speedy Anthony Amato with another two goal game for the Wings.  The pride of the city of Warren – Steve Bayagich and David Rupprecht also tally for the Wings.  Goaltender Dar was outstanding between the pipes!  Trevor Wrobel scores twice for five goals on the day for the Flyers!  Looking just not right in a Flyers jersey instead of a Sharks jersey – Mike Garlick with a goal.        

HAWKS   6     HABS   4

Another two goal game for Hawks center Brian Moore.  Hawks sub “Steve” Kasper also with the deuce.  Joe Robillard and sub Scott Davenport also find the back of the net for the Hawks as they split on the day.  John Crisi goes twine twice for the Habs as Rob Rowling and Eddie Sudzina go once.  

SHARKS  6     BRUINS   6

Katie bar the door!  Not too much D played in this contest, as the Sharks allow 13 pucks to enter their net today!  Mike Akins scores his second goal of the game in the games last minute to tie it up for the Fish!  Fish singles for Mike Nalepa, Joey Reiss, sub Paul Elsey Jr. and celebrating his milestone 60th birthday – Paul Violassi.  Mark Micolo with the Bruins hat trick!  Singles for Sting rookie Sean Kendall, Rob Hergott and Jeff Steiber.
