1-1 entering the final stanza.  The Sharks spread out the scoring – Steve “Mario” Lemieux, Dr. Nate, Marty Papesh(EN) and subs Ryan Boyette and Scott Leslie.  It was nice to see former regular goalie Gordy Nadolski in his Sting return subbing for the Sharks.  Joey Reiss and Jimmy “Jets” Galloway score for the Frenchmen.  No trips to the sin bin for either squad.

BRUINS   4     SHARKS   2

First it was fowl, this game it was fish, as the Bruins sweep today!  Power winger Mike “Padre” Nalepa with a two goal game.  Singles for line-mate Brian Moore and Warren native Steve Bayagich.  Once again – Notre Dame HS alumni Billy Schaugg shined in nets!  Dr. Nate and Mike Garlic dent the twine for the Fish.

HAWKS   4    HABS   3

Habs up two zip entering the final period.  Then the Hawks rattle off four goals in two minutes and send the Habs to the cellar.  Scott Chodun with the deuce.  Greg Stacy and on a beautiful end to end rush – Mike Riddle with singles.  As in game one, Jimmy Galloway and Joey Reiss find the back of the net for the Habs.  Rob Rowling pounds in a rebound.  Buddy’s Joey Reiss and Scott Chodun take pleasure in chopping each other and hit the box with slashing minors.
